I never understand the comparison of Rajasthan child marriage and Muslims underage marriage. Rajasthan get kids married, like committed and they have sex after they grow up after another ceremony. Using UCC for religious polarisation is unfair. Being a indian Christian, I can say that even Christian laws do have fault lines regarding gender equality. Intention behind UCC should be inclined on giving equal rights to womens instead of turning this matter as hindu muslim issue. Orelse reform the religious laws itself. I mean India's leaving aside civil law, India's uniform criminal law is itself filled with so many fault lines like decriminalising martial rape, AFSPA, Sedition..

exactly bro including and talking just about hindu law changes throughout the video is really all the information they might have got, including just one muslim case because it is necessary because it is everywhere and deshbhakt need to show some credibility. 1.Triple talaq Bill(The talaq system is introduced for both man and Woman.Not for man only.And It has time duration. After first Talaq you have to give 6 months to second talaq and 1 year before third Talaq.If Anyone is not capable of having life with each other then they must be separted.That's why Islam had such rules.It’s a freedom of action not compulsory. No A son gets double of what the daughter gets according to the islamic sharia. This is because a son is given the responsibility of the house. The daughter might spend out of her own will but it’s not mandatory for her whereas it’s obligatory for the son to take care of the family. Islam puts the responsibilities of finance of a young girl on the shoulders of a father initially. When she grows and reaches an age where she is capable of marriage, her financial responsibilities get transferred to the husband. In the old age, if the husband dies, the responsibilities shift on to the son and so on. So as you see that the girls have no obligations to spend out of their properties, whereas the guy has to lift all the burden of the family on his shoulders. I hope this explains it.

This is a complex issue given the many cultural and religious practices here from times immemorial.Tribal laws are very different too.This cannot be rushed through half baked.Too much scope for confusion, grey areas and misinterpretation.This cannot be hurried through. The time for nuances and sensitives is over. NOTHING will change in this matter unless something is done with a firm attitude. True secularism is when the same rule applies to everybody. So, just like the form of parliamentary democracy (which was imported into India from the West), uniform civil laws also can be inherited from the West.
