Mike was a close friend of my cousin back in 2001. He told her that ever since his hair caught on fire from the Pepsi commercial, his head was in so much pain that he could not sleep. He had been on pain killers years before for the pain, but he became addicted to them so he refused to resort to them again for his sleeping problem. He also had lupus, which also took a huge toll on his body. He went through a lot of adversity. His comfort and joy was his kids.
@fatamorgana14705 ай бұрын
His life is the saddest thing I've ever seen, despite the wealth and all that he has achieved. When he was on stage or shooting those music videos it was a complete change. A metamorphosis. It was like watching an amazing transformation happen, I believe dancing was also another comfort although strenuous. He put a lot of focus and commitment into the work and without it he felt empty probably. We saw the result of this effort in the musical art he created - and in his physical, mental, or emotional health. He had reached the limit in the weeks before the day he died.

To the doctor, this is certainly the case. I went through a traumatic experience, when I ran away from 16:56 home to escape abuse and neglect, in my early teens. Even when I lived on the streets and had nowhere else to sleep, I couldn’t sleep there. I knew anything could happen to you, because it already had, before. Even decades later, it’s hard to sleep at night. I know how animals feel, who must remain alert to avoid l predators, but have not actually evolved to do so, such as homeless, domesticated pet animals. That’s why I’ve dedicated much of my life to helping homeless cats, and a few dogs.

If Micheal didn't have a monster for a father, he would've been a more stable adult. He was horribly abused and neglected. Our childhood is so important. It sets us up for the rest of our lives. Maybe if he had his own bed and more parental support the sleepless nights wouldn't have been as bad. I think Micheal would've been a star no matter who his parents were. It's just a shame he was given the monster he was given.

Michael had a mountain of money. And with that he had a way to get people to do what he wanted, including unknowingly killing himself. Because without a doubt what he had been doing was suicidal behavior. And he had several acquaintances around him who didn't pull him out of the deep end, on the contrary. Some of them may have even tried, who knows. As far as I know he was close to his sister Janet, but sometimes family members can't imagine the problems someone in the family is going through.

Yeah... It's like giving daily morphine to someone who complains of pain because of an inflamed cuticle. They were either negligent with his health or Michael himself was too stubborn, perhaps having lost track of how dangerous it was. And that's considering that his body was already accustomed to these prescriptions since he used medication to treat burns and other pain after that incident in the Pepsi commercial. That was the beginning of everything, I think. He went to another level of tolerance, because apparently nothing worked. Unfortunately it was an involuntary suicide. In the end, they killed him in many ways. He hadn't been well for a few years before he died, especially after what the press did to him.

We have a wonderful hypnologist in Russia and she creates excellent meditations, affirmations, which I have been listening to for more than two years, every evening I just turn on before going to bed and fall asleep. And every time I think that if Michael listened to them, they would definitely help him, they act very well on the subconscious and life really changes for the better. I believe that Michael is alive and I dream that someday a miracle will happen and we will listen to these meditations together, although they are in Russian, but I think the subconscious will understand. In his book, Frank Casio wrote that Michael believed in the power of affirmations, so he would have liked meditation too. Michael, if you're reading these lines, please try to listen to them.

As someone with terrible insomnia as well, I completely understand MJ falling victim to the medications that ultimately took his life. If I don’t take my medication I’m literally up until the break of dawn, and then I’ll just pass out and wake up 3 or 4 hours later, say around 9:00 or 10:00 am. It’s terrible. You can’t think clearly, everything’s a haze, you just want to feel well rested and have peace of mind throughout the day. You become very irritable, and after a few nights without adequate sleep, you become almost psychotic. Real insomniacs know. It’s such a struggle.

Michael was very sensitive and emotional, I can imagine that the false allegation and the horrible smear campaign caused a lot of stress and psychological pain on his health. Especially because Michael's motivation was to help and support people. Michael was on and off painkillers due to his lupus, which causes joint and muscle pain. He also suffered a severe back injury after falling 50 feet from a bridge during a concert. His autopsy confirmed he had osteoarthritis in almost all his joints, requiring pain management. Both his lungs were inflamed due to lupus. I don't believe he was on drugs while in Bahrain, where there is a death penalty for drug use, or while he lived in Ireland. He also attended Ayahuasca retreats in Brazil, which prohibit drug use. No pain medication was found in his body when he died. Dr. Murray is responsible for Michael's death. He administered 25 mg of propofol, far exceeding the maximum recommended dose of 5 mg. This is not an accidental overdose. He failed to inform Michael that propofol could cause insanity and be fatal. Another reason why Michael had insomnia is the fact, that Michael had migraines after the burn accident. He had a surgery on his scull, the doctor opened his scull and placed a balloon under his scull, for more elasticity, but it left him with insomnia. Michael did not sleep with boys in his bedroom. Many adults, parents, friends, girls, nephews, nieces, managers, and bodyguards were often present. Michael never invited anyone into his bedroom; people wanted to be close to him, and he was too polite to turn them away. He was known to be non-confrontational and struggled to say no, likely due to being raised by a strict authoritarian father. During the 2005 trial, women confirmed they also slept in Michael's bed, and his bodyguard mentioned in an interview that Michael often stayed in hotels in LA to sleep.

I think its very important to mention that Dr Arnold Klein was administering Demerol to MJ that's why we have videos of several visits to Arnold's office in 2009, and the reason why some of the this is it crew said sometimes mj appeared talking slowly or like if he has taken something. At the end MJ was in abstinece on demerol thats why is wasnt found on his body in the autopsy, and leaving an addictive drug like demerol suddenly like he did replacing it with other drugs caused even more insomnia, anxiety and some other effects for leaving demerol without a professional and all of that caused like a circle of one problem leading to another one.

Before Michael died he was not on pain medication, no drugs were found according to the autopsy. He didn't substitute the pain medication. He wanted to sleep so that he was able to work through the rehearsals. Dr. Murray is responsible for Michael's death. He administered 25 mg of propofol, far exceeding the maximum recommended dose of 5 mg. This is not an accidental overdose. He failed to inform Michael that propofol could cause insanity and be fatal. Michael had no idea that a daily treatment of propofol would made him crazy.

Insomnia is awful ! Sometimes there is nothing you can do but to wait for sleep to creep up on you, and it's never enough. Can't say I wouldn't have tried some type of anesthesia drug during my most desperate times.

I just had toe surgery, they gave me propofol (milk) it only lasts for 5-8 mins. It is just to initially put you under, not to sleep. Conrad Murray murdered this man, he would give him his “milk” via a IV.. which should never be done. There are so many other options out there, than an aesthetic strictly to be used in a hospital setting. If only the “doctor” would have offered him a much safer alternative. rest in peace Micheal, you will be forever missed. ❤

I think what's most depressing is he passed away, not knowing he wouldn't wake up the next day continuing rehersals, as he was looking forward to it 😓 Granted, we obviously will never know 100% what went on minute by minute, but if he truly left from propofal, at least he didn’t suffer and finally got the sleep he always wanted 🙏 This world could use someone like him now more than ever, but just hope wherever he is, he's happy and in peace 🌏❤️

So Michael was raised having a number of people sleeping in is own bed, basically without his permission. Is it any wonder he grew up thinking it was normal? This tells me that he told the truth about there being nothing wrong with it in his eyes. We could blame his father for that as well. I believe this further proves his innocence. Not guilty! Michael was taught this habit up to his early teens. I believe he was only trying to recapture his childhood he had lost.

I wonder if Michael slept better with company in his bed? I have 11 siblings and we grew up in a small place. I don’t sleep well unless I have someone in the bed with me because I’m use to the closeness. I also work 3rd shift so I suffer from insomnia too, coupled with bipolar disorder and anxiety..it’s hell. I understand his desperation

They killed him, I’m not going to say who “they” are, but you can research it for yourself. Listen to his last phone call, he was holding up his end of the deal. Mike started exposing everything towards the end of his life and he knew his time was up. That’s all I’m saying.

😔 This shows how demanding being so famous that you can't shutdown bcus the world demands you. As a realist, I have always felt compassion for MJ bcus of how he was raised and the pple that used him(Family included). When we think of Michael Jackson, always keep in mind, "cld you have lived a life so many pple depended to the point, you don't have the self reflection and privacy to keep your mental health at ease on a daily basis... R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson. 🙏🏽👍🏾🌷

His insomnia came from his fathers abuse, that destroyed his nervous system, he was born very sensitive with low ability to stand against the stress he got from it and plus Michael was a virgo, for him stress was very dangerous.
@hannaz46175 ай бұрын
I think you are right! His father and his childhood traumatized him. He was always under pressure to succeed. Karen Faye his makeup artist said, that she thinks with his last performance he was still seeking the approval of his father. He was conditioned to make money for other people and he wasn't able to break the circle of his trauma. He was his whole life financially abused, as a child and until he died.

I agree, on a private phone call in the 90s he talked about his father coming on their bedroom window at night wearing a monster mask and scaring them, that must have affected his sleep too, it's awful

I know this is off-topic especially for a video with such a dark topic, but I am living for the Freddie and Michael stories. It's interesting to know how they interracted. I really hope MJ's new biopic adds that in. On a more serious note, it's pretty astonishing and horrifying to know how bad MJ's insomnia was. He was the living embodiment of the Russian Sleep Experiment.

Honestly MJ was a much covered artist by everyone but mostly by the Media probably to a extreme degree While MJ was a hard working artist that recorded then went on tour while pushing through sleep to work on his music

So sleep deprivation is the root of the cause of his death. I also seem to suffer from a bit of insomnia and i feel so bad for Michael. He was just too sweet but almost all people hurted him and got all benefits from him. Why did they treat him like that? All of them made him like this. I miss you so much Michael. Love you and you're always missed my angel ❤
