Jesus people can't take a joke. My grandpa who was a Aircraft Mechanic told me if he were to be attacked he would be to busy checking that the B52 miniguns were actually off. Because lets just say someones lunchbox once was riddled with holes after they took a walk by a B 52 tail.

I knew a guy who was in the army who during Vietnam would go base to base and do people's taxes and resolve tax problems and shit like that. he said but when the base came under attack everyone fought. he talked about the fighting he was in and everything. but when he got back to the States he didn't get any recognition for him fighting because his job was to do taxes for people.

This is a great video. I'm a POG and I didn't think I would run into peers as described in the video but you for sure will. I couldn't believe it and still can't. The shit is embarrassing as hell and just makes people in support MOS's just look that much more ignorant with what the Grunt's have to go through. As said in the video just be proud of what you do whatever it is. No need to try to impress people. Just do your job.

I was conflicted with either joining the United States Army or Marine Corps but I decided to go Army and my job will be 42A Human Resources Specialist which is equivalent to 0151 Admin Clerk for the Marine Corps. Well the way people are saying about pissing on bodies is a morality issue. Morality is a thing that 99% of people have. So most people do have the authority to talk on the issue of disgracing bodies. Just because they do bad things does not give us the right to be savages like them.

Roberteich Regardless of whether something happened to you or to someone else justice is the same for all. Just how being the victim of a crime does not allow that person to become a vigilante. You never stoop down to your opponents level. And what I found particulary troubling in his video is when he says (not exact quote) that they do much worse things to us soldiers bodies so pissing on him is ok. Thats lke saying after beating you wife that its fine cause other people would have killed her? If you have to compare yourself to a terrorist then you should probably rethink your choices.

I met an AAV platoon commander who was very proud of the fact that he and his Marines got up three hours before the infantry to prepare their equipment and stayed up three hours longer while the grunts slept in the back. I know that's a combat MOS and not what you're describing, but it still made an impression on me.
@Rubenmon1
@Rubenmon1 10 жыл бұрын
Despite that the insurgents are savages, we shouldn't "return the favor" by pretty much doing the same thing to the bodies. What different would a Marine who does something bad to a dead insurgent's body any different from what they unfortunately do to a service man's body? What makes use stronger is showing mercy despite they know we can do the far worst with just our hands. There's no better way by showing the enemy we are to be feared than by showing mercy.
@maximiliantay9545
@maximiliantay9545 10 жыл бұрын
But by showing mercy the dogs will think we are soft and not a threat and will perform more daring attacks on our soldiers on the frontline.So we should cut out their organs and feed them to their family uncooked

I was a 21B gone sapper in the army then went into Marines Infantry after 5 years of no deployments. One deployment to Iraq through the entire 11 years of service. I don't feel like I got to give my brothers everything I had to offer.

@shadowgun22 They do there jobs not infantry type stuff everyone is trained as a rifleman so in the case that a FOB is overrun or shit hits the fan they can help the infantry clear the path. But that almost never happens atleast until we go to war with china or something lol

I know what you mean, when I was in the Marine Corps I was a radio oporator, and we had this one guy in our comm shop, a data guy that used to tell girls that his knee injery was from being hit my an IED... he never left the wire and hurt his knee before he joined.

Thanks for this video. You are so right I mean hell I was a 0311 my first contract now I am a 0814. I can't tell you how many times I hear this this coming from non combat mos guys. Just tell people the truth they will be happy that you were even in. I can tell you that even though I was a 0311 we didnt get shot at everyday lot of the time we just went out on patrol and sall nothing. But we did get into a tic here and there. Thanks for putting this out there.

army checking in here and i feel what your saying, but the worst part is when a guy tells you a story about a fire fight you told him 6mo back but then he says he turned down a CAB because he didn't feel it was right to kill people..smh

As far as I know the Marines are an Equal Opportunity Provider. I think they can still reject you if you don't meet some requirements like weight limit or eyesight or something like that.

I've met a few people just like that too. This one guy was in the army but wouldn't talked about it at all, it was like he was just dramatized it. i remembered always mad at me at the way I play online and constantly is always yelling at me.

@kirsten mcgoldrick there is an elite air force career, a Combat Controller that sneak behind enemy lines, commonly with other special forces like navy seals or green berets, and direct airstriles from behind the enemy. They also do actual combat with guns n stuff, in general, they just acrew the wnemy when tey least expect it.

and yeah, like most of the people that watch your videos, you're awesome dude, surprisingly really interesting to hear, I mean I didnt picture myself listening to a dude talking about random stuff for 1 hour and a half while playing poker, you should stream your gaming sessions and make some money out of it, even by subscriptions on stream, this shit should grow because out of the people getting popular there, you really deserve a spot no doubt. I know you're not in it for money but still
