He's right. A lot of people dating these days dont put in much effort and use the same approaches as everyone else. They don't make themselves stand out in any way yet are dismayed when they get no results.

The best lover I’ve ever had was overweight and not at all good looking. But he was SO confident and he made me laugh like no one else. I was so at ease with him that our sex was fantastic! He eventually became “married” to his business. We loved our year together and I still call him a good friend today.

the key word is WAS. he was just a temporary place holder for the next best thing. he did not had a chance from day one, and your comment of his description illustrates that. eventually, a reason was manifested in order to move on to the next best thing, and friend zone him to keep the benefits that he was providing.

I have zero problem with a man using a coupon. 🤷‍♀️ I do have a problem with a man showing up in frumpy clothing and poorly groomed. I give a good effort with my appearance both for myself and as a sign of respect for my date.

Women don't necessarily see through fake confidence in men. What happens is the woman feels unsafe (and she feels unsafe because of his highly stressed state). She may not even know that there is deceit going on. All she knows is that she feels unsafe around you. It's an instinctual thing. Sexuality and instincts go together. I cannot stress this enough: If a woman feels safe around a man (safe to be her vulnerable self), she is sexually attracted to him. If a woman feels unsafe around a man, she is sexually turned off him.

You all are not getting it. I am not attached to any relationship at all, I go my way regardless of what anyone thinks. It is not a bad thing to be single. When you are attached to having a relationship, you are not free. I am not attached to any person and no relationship will enhance me. The strongest people in this world were single their whole life, like Isaac Newton. I am exactly zero percent willing to do anything in order to have a relationship to fullfill some attachment ego desire that will only enslave my consciousness.

When was the last time this bloke had to go out on a date? I suspect it was a looong time ago. I feel like he hasn’t considered how dating has shifted to a more informal affair amidst the rise in apps and he is pretty dismissive of how many women actually want to split the bill these days, certainly in lots of European countries. He literally uses the pub as a bad example but it is the typical first date place in many countries because it puts both parties at ease.

I have a friend who is 6+ feet tall, he did modelling when he was younger, and took very good care of his body - he has so many women that he simply puts zero effort in trying to get them. women would set standards for an average looking man and would completely throw out everything they would say when he makes a move on them. the only reason why that woman got triggered by the coupon was because the dude was not hot to her. women would create this external small petty reasons why something was wrong with the man so that people do not think that they are shallow. the stuff my friend could make the woman do would make your brain melt, just about every reason why a woman would get triggered would be a seduction to same woman if she was with my friend. lets face it, the rules that the women set are for the man that they are not crazy attracted to. as a man you have to understand that you can only attract a woman two ways (your looks OR money/status). and in this game, looks is the only way to go. if you are leading with money and status, she will keep finding different reasons with what is wrong with you - like the coupon example.

It’s not other people’s hang ups. It’s mine. I don’t have to agree with people 100% of the time but the core values I have the other person must also share. Otherwise, I won’t even bother because I know it’s going to be a problem in the near future. For example, politics, religion, financial handling, vices and what a relationship should be. If you’re too woke, then I don’t see you as sensible. I just see you as a fanatic. Same with religion and financial handling. Too much spending especially on depreciating consumerism is bad. It demonstrates a weakness. How one sees relationships. Are you looking for a mother 2.0? I mean you just have to have your life together and what I mean by that is have a career or a business, party but be sensible, look after yourself but don’t be consumed with self, help others like your family and be kind. And do that every day 24/7/365. Yup. All the boring stuff.

Make no mistake. Physical appearance is the first thing a woman notices.. If you are an 8-10 you have a big advantage. Its latter that they concentrate on wealth, status and utilitarian (what can this simp do for me) value. I thought Errol Flynn was queer.
@lucasgrey9794
@lucasgrey9794 Жыл бұрын
That's the thing. Robert Greene ignores that Errol Flynn was a 9/10 literal Gigachad. The woman in the book didn't want to appear shallow so she wrote that she was "intoxicated by his relaxed confidence" rather than his looks. Let the black pill guide you!
@hamasakibibou7433
@hamasakibibou7433 Жыл бұрын
Well it’s just not true. Men are waaaay more like that. Non only he show it in the book but also by a simple fact. Men more consume p0rn by picture and videos, women more by reading. Gay men are extremely in touch with their appearance cause to attract another man you will have to look good. Average straight and average gay don’t look the same at all and don’t take the same care of their appearance. But a straight men liking a woman who doesn’t look good ? Never happened. Instant reject. Women are seduced by something more subtle. The dandy style works because it’s an exception, a rare thing by straight man. If most men wore dandies their seduction would work. It’s something transgressive and subtle that is sexy in them like Errol Flynn.

When he says let go of tightness/don’t be cheap… does that apply to both sides? As in, if both sides don’t sincerely offer to go Dutch, is one side being tight/cheap? And in terms of thinking of somewhere unusual/creative/interesting to go, does that apply equally?

From the perspective of a single woman post babies and now widowed, yes absolutely men must pay and show willing to invest (not just in money but in effort, in wooing etc). This is because women are biologically the ones to carry babies - they will be the ones physically out of action while they give birth, breastfeed etc, so a man must show he’s able to be not only self-sufficient but also provide for his family. I wish I had paid much more attention to that biological drive to have a man who wants to take care of me when I was first dating in my teens/20s. For someone in my position, not looking to have more children, and looking for my second big relationship, I think then equality between the sexes is more up for debate.

This is the thing Greene gets horrible wrong, despite all the rules and laws he describes. Tomassi knows it better and any decent PUA proofs Greene to be wrong. Treat her like a star and she will treat you like a fan. Women want fun, adventure and self confidence. It is the other way around: if you cannot make a date at McDonald’s a funny encounter, you are boring and the girl most prolly a borderline gold digger or even worse, if you need to pay for things beyond friendship. Men are cheap when they see themselves as beggars. Greene’s work is fantastic, a timeless classic work of arts, and if he gets some exchange with Tomassi, he will be grounded.

I completely disagree with this guy. In my experience honesty is the way I have found my dates to be most responsive. If you don't have much money and you say "I would you think I'm cheap if I use a coupon?" And she makes a strange face, maybe you are not right for each other. It better then lying and going into dept. How does this "expert" think that will go in 6 months.

he is a nerd who most women simply do not find attractive, yet he is dispelling garbage like he understands this. my x model friend who is 6+ feet tall told me many years ago. "if she does not have a raw physically attraction to you - she is attracted to something else that you have". most man have no clue what "raw physical attraction" even looks like. they think that they have to do all them things for a woman to arrive to that . . . wrong. my friend puts no effort in chasing woman - they chase him, they take him out on dates, they spend money on him, they bring him home on the first night, they text him back for another date. lol, he does not even need a coupon . . . because he is not the one paying. some of the things Robert writes about is good, but when it comes down to women - he has no clue. he is saying same thing others are say that simply does not work and men end up friendzooned. the real answer is very simple, yet we try to make it more complex than it actually is. stop the CAP please.

@cashmazy Rightly or wrongly maybe you’re uncomfortable with effort and somehow your relationship with effort is over coupled with “too vulnerable” or beneath you. I know as a lady it feels vulnerable to put myself out there and put in effort because I may be rejected, but no person with inherent value likes to chase, and no one with respect for others cares to allow others to do that without it eating them up inside.
