It seems like I'm always searching for all your videos, Zee, to hear your recommendations and thoughts on the games you truly enjoy. I think we have similar tastes, especially when it comes to games that often don't receive much praise but immediately captivate me. For instance, Abyss is a game I discovered a long time ago, but I can no longer find it in my country. I absolutely love the game, its theme, and the universe it creates. I was surprised and delighted to see you mention it in some of your other videos. Looking forward to your next impressions! Haha.

Thank you for revisiting 2023! There’s always so much hype on the new games of the year. Ironically, I only have one game on your list, which is Earth. Love it, but most people I play games with prefer lighter games. I think Ticket to Ride Legends of the West Legacy is under the Christmas tree. Waiting to be opened! I love TTR franchise, so if that is it under the tree, then I will enjoy it. Heat Pedal to the Metal and Planet Unkown are great games that I believe were released in 2023 and are in my collection. Just played the Heavy Rain (Heat expansion set), recently. Heat is the game that keeps coming back to the table as it can support a large player count and is enjoyed by gamers and non-gamers.

Not including Castles of Burgundy Special Edition, so this is my top 10: 1. Faraway 2. Earth 3. The Search for Lost Species 4. Darwin's Journey 5. Evacuation 6. Forest Shuffle 7. Sky Team 8. The White Castle 9. Apiary 10. Daybreak There are quite a lot of games I havenøt played, which would probably knock off some of these.

Zee, it's so great to see you making videos. Seems like you have maybe slipped into a more behind-the-scenes role at the Dice Tower. The 'noob' crew is fine, I guess, but I miss the days when I could count on an almost daily dose of Tom, Zee, and Mike. Times change and we with times.

Earth turned out to be a game that I finally felt I had a "favorite" game. It will only get better with the new expansion. To me, it is silly fun!

I'm kind of relieved to not see Earth on this list. I find the game so incredibly boring, and while it's great that lots of people love it, it makes me feel less out of step with the current trends.

How can one play freedom 5 coop and think amazing adventures was good . Amazing adventures was the worst coop game I’ve played to date . Should be a 4-5 score absolutely boring . Ai boring zero innovation stale and stagnant . Coop games I’ve played . Freedom 5, oathsworn , galaxy defenders, death may die , sword and sorcery , kingdom death , isofarian guard , tidal blades 2 , ageamonia , gloomhaven , black stone fortress , massive darkness 2 and many more I can think off the top of my head . To think they have that boring game 10 is mystifying.

Do you mean Unmatched Adventures? Either way, I'm surprised the high praise the Unmatched series seems to get. It's a very simplistic game with simplistic mechanics, nothing too new or revolutionary. Aside from that, I've seen a Pokémon board game, and another anime board game, come up with the exact same, or very similar game, back in 2003. Why does it get such praise for being a carbon copy of games that were released so long before it?

@@billable1861 While I've never played it personally myself, I've seen enough gameplay to think, "that's it?" This is what's ranked high on every reviewer's list? It's not even reviewers, I've seen the community rank it so high. It surprises me because if it wasn't a known publisher no way would everyone be praising this game so highly. There's an anime game in Japan that was released in 2003 that is basically this exact game. Why doesn't Restoration Games get flak for releasing an exact copy of a game, but I'll see Kickstarters get criticism because they copied a discontinued game from 2004?
