How did he pull that wild card out of the middle of the deck so smoothly?

He's prepping them :) Same was in the Onirim review. I like how he makes it look like an accident "oh, how lucky was that" :)

He did sound like he was a bit surprised as well, though. :)

Our board game group has a Secret Santa exchange every December, and we got this for one of our friends in the group. It is a BLAST, and I loved hearing your take on it Zee! You've actually reminded me that I need to purchase it for myself. So thanks for that!

I just bought this last weekend and am anxious to play it. There's also a party edition that features six new decks which would be great once you've played this a few times.

Anomia is literally my favorite game. Yes I'm only a few years into board games but I love this game and I don't see that changing. The only issue I've had this this game is people who don't know any Blues or Jazz musicans. Can't name a rock opera to save their lives. That aside it's not an issue that usually lasts long. Maybe it gives them a single point easily but it's just as likely to be covered up. Also the game survives missing cards. if no one in your group knows what a Palindrome is you can take the card out and the game still works. Wow.. i wholeheartedly disagree on the A2A legs comparison. A2A burns out FAST. All it takes is one hand of political leaders no one else knows and the game stops being fun.

Great review, Zee! I really like this game. It's super simple and good for those groups with a wide variety of player skill levels.

He is just practicing his Tom-isms. Have to make one obvious mistake every video or else it wouldn't be a proper Dice Tower production!

Shut Up and Sit Down liked this Game, though I think they knew the Designer. It looks like a fun game, sorta like Categories. Will you be reviewing Senji?

A speed party trivia pursuit game where you have to name something based on cards. Concept is slightly better imho

Anomia has almost no similarity to Apples to Apples. It's kind of weird to hear him talk like that...

It look like the game "Blitzed!" from Asmodee, maybe it's just a french game.. Nice review !

A great game. One of my collection that I consider top shelf. A similar game is one called Blurble.

Fantastic game to play with a bunch of writers (or other kinds of wordsmith) and watch them devolve as they try to think of the word they need!

Great review! But I don't think I would like this game. Speed-based games are not fun to me, and the design is kinda boring.

I accidentally tuned out and went on a space adventure involving a band of mercenaries fighting an evil corporation with betrayers and worker placement and dancing eggs during this review, perhaps it isn't for me...
