Yeah, the dude doesnt know how to raise cats clearly lol but as long as he doesnt get rid of them, I dont care 😊 Im surprised he didnt put it together that the second cat gets a lot of the behaviors from the owner, but instead thought it only learned from the other cat! Lol cats can definitely be trained really well, and if you dont train them then you just train them without knowing it 😂

That's how I was with my cats. I had a huge sand tabby (Blondie) who was the sweetest cat ever but I kept my little black kitten (MOPI) in a crate for a few days bc I adopted him when he was only six weeks old. I would let him out of the crate and Blondie would get in it on his own and fall asleep lol. They took turns like this until MOPI was a bit older and the first few days I was scared every time they went under the bed bc I would hear MOPI mewing but in no time they slept cuddled together and MOPI grew larger than Blondie who was almost exactly one year older. I miss them so much! 🥺 They stayed at my parents house when I moved away and couldn't bring them along and my parents put them outside without telling me until much later and they got lost before I could go back for them. 😢

@@julieutley2073 squirt bottles arent a good training tactic, it teaches them to fear you and fear water. just work with them, dont put them down. you dont use squirt bottles on kids or adults when they're acting up. just dont teach them these behaviours in the first place if you need to 'punish' that badly

@@d.laveyyy I do teach my cats what's off limits first. We ALWAYS tell them "no!" sharply before using the spray. They do understand. When they see me spray my plants they will often "claim" the spray bottle by rubbing on it so they aren't scared of it. Of course we don't spray people. Different species understand different behaviors.

My cat loves water and I'm not sure if she even recognizes that it's water hitting her if I spray her with the bottle (only a quick little spritz each time, and she's a quick learner). She always runs straight to me afterwards with her usual "mrrrp" :P Some times it's enough to just grab the bottle. Also she loves water because she's a Bengal, and she also loves me. Whenever she does something she knows she shouldn't be doing it's solely to get my attention because she knows it's working. Which of course is my own damn fault xD

Cats and plants just don’t mix. But Max just kept trying…sooo patient. Obviously, he was frustrated with the unending (and predictable) demise of his plants, but you could hear in his voice both disbelief (cat’s persistence)- and a little amusement too.
