This was a farmers dog stolen by someone that wanted to make a video to post on social media, claiming how special they were. For a failed dog on someone's property, it was sure healthy, and had zero marks. You wonder why he didn't go to the house on the orchard asking if they were the owner? This is no different than walking into someones yard and staling their dog. This is how we do our dogs in the country, on ranches. They have free roam of the property.... It's crazy how delusional you people were all because of a video title. Did you not see how healthy this dog is?! Just because you people from the city believe a dog should be in a cage or behind a fence, does not mean that's how us rural people believe animals should be treated. This was nothing more than theft, which is why it took a month from him to gain the dogs trust! My dogs sit at the gate to my property all day long watching cars. I would end someone of they came and did what this man did..

He sleeps on his back with them paws up in the air just a snoring away and loud too. He sleeps with his teeth showing so he looks like Lee Marvin. He has fear aggression toward humans but he must have decided it was time to leave the humane society and score his own backyard. After three visits and lots of treats and doggie peanut butter ice cream he finally let us pet him and the humane society sent him home with us. Doesn’t trust anyone but us. He will nip/bite. And he’s the biggest love bug I’ve ever seen. He rams you in the belly and crawls onto your lap. Too bad he won’t trust others. So many people just want to love on our little love bug. Every bark box coming in the mail, every french fry or scrap of meat fat makes us feel like the best pet parents ever for saving him from years at the shelter.

Yeah, abducting farmers dogs is wonderful. The dog was clearly being taken care of, and was just allowed free range of the property. Mamma is like literally every other ranchers dog Ive ever encountered. She wasn't agresive, she was healthy, but was given free range of the property. This man literally documented the theft of someone's dog. If the ranch was large enough, he could have done all of this without anyone even knowing. Guranteed the dog hung out by the road because she enjoyed the location, and went home to sleep on the porch each night. This is unbelievable...

I've done some real rough rescues in my day. The roughest was a bit like this. I moved back home to Illinois from Florida and I got to the rental house about 2:00 a.m. and snow all over the ground it was february. Snow and ice everywhere. When we pulled in my car and my boyfriend at the time pulled in the U-Haul the lights hit this tree and underneath it was this black lump laying in the snow. I had my Dobermans in the car so I didn't want to jump out prematurely and I had my ex jump out of the U-Haul and grab a bowl and pop to my trunk where the dog food was. Meanwhile the people were fixing to rent the house from are standing on the porch in the cold. Those are my priorities. So he took the food over and set it down and walked away cuz she was going to get up and he didn't want her to have to get up cuz she was emaciated. And then he grabbed a blanket out of my car and put on top of her. The landlord's informed me she's been hanging around there for about 6 years or so by a previous tenant she said no one had ever been able to catch him not even the dog catcher who drugged her with hamburger meat. I said I'll catch her. She had what look like an injury to respond where it dips down in the middle like someone would either run over her or hit her with a shovel or something so she hobbled everywhere and they still couldn't catch it. I didn't have time to do it real slowly because the winter was set in and it was a bad one. They had even built the shelter for her but she wouldn't go into it because she didn't want to feel cornered obviously. She had zero trust of humans. Took me a week to get her in the house. My Dobermans helped with that a great deal because when she realized there were other dogs there she wanted to be part of that pack. I would go outside in the icy cold and I'm physically disabled so cold is not my friend. I would have to sit my butt on the ground because if I squatted she wouldn't come near me. I used raw meat in my hand and would have to turn my head away from her because if I looked at her Chicago off as fast as she could. Took me about 3 days to get her into the garage where I had some heat for her and another 4 days to get her into the house. When she was in the house she was part of our pack and she was an amazing dog. Unfortunately due to her for help and physical issues she only lasted 3 years and it broke my heart. But I'm pretty sure they were the best three years of her life

The addiction to saving animals is one addiction I can fully get behind. It’s a real nice one and the high you get from it is so good! Whether you rescues big animals or small ones, seeing them in their right place after you saved them is incredible. My personal favourites will always be birds and flying insects, like bees. Sometimes it’s a very short and quick rescue, save the insect from dying, get them something to eat, let them rest and regain strength, bring them to a place where they can fly freely… but watching them fly away is always a great feeling. I haven’t rescued dogs yet, but I can imagine how great that would feel. :)

Just spent the last 7 months of 2021 going thru this exact same process (minus the location being an hour away) with a year old feral cat. During the first month I had no idea she had a litter of kittens as well. Man, did that ever change everything once discovered. LOT of time, sacrifice, and things put on hold to focus on her and those kittens. The kittens were absolutely amazing to watch grow so fast and to have Mom Cat sit beside me and only just put her paw on my leg and watch as I picked up a kitten after 8 or so weeks spoke volumes about her trust. I would indeed do it all over again if called upon. Her bonding with me was easily the most rewarding thing ever.

Yeah, I'm curious as to whether or not he's been prosecuted for stealing some framers ranch dog. Look at how healthy this animal was... Just because she enjoyed sitting by the road on the edge of the property, doesn't mean the dog was homeless. Every rancher I've ever met has several dogs just like this. This man abducted someone's dog.. Not everybody allows their dog to sleep in bed with them. That doesn't mean that they're a stray.
@victoryiaBee2 жыл бұрын
I see your perspective but if that dog was truly happy they wouldn’t have been baited to leave. We don’t know the true story, seemed like an abandon area, pitties are abandoned more often than not. He saved a dog, I’ll assume this dog is still safe by my own choice and i refuse to imagine the worse in a complete strange that’s sharing a small bit of a huge story.
