My guess is it got out the open window but climbed higher on the roof and got scared and didn’t know how to get back in.

@@paperdoll1982 I'm sure you're correct. I hope they install screens on the windows. Having a dog in the house is like having a 2 year old for 15 years and I don't doubt if they had a human 2 year old there would be screens on the windows.

What you do for these pets is so heartfelt and humanitarian. I'm almost in tears watching this. Reminds me of my Dog Rocky(Blessed memory) Who passes away over my lack to care because of work. This haunts me always but glady I got a home job that earns me lots of dollars and also give me time to care for my new pet

Although there is some risk involved with being on a roof, roofers do it every day. I have gone on my roof to clean the shingles as well as to cover mine and neighbors roofs with tarps after a hurricane. It isn’t as hard as it looks. That said, it still is a very nice thing he did helping the dog and the owner of the dog.
