Something I wanna point out: the new side characters get to breathe. This is Kate’s scene, but Garrett and Alistair are fully formed characters, and you can see how doubtful Garrett is about this whole thing (he doesn’t have a gift), but silently encouraging all the same, whereas Alistair almost seems to have a change of heart when he sees Bella move her shield. Someone who is so distrustful of the Volturi that he eventually runs off suddenly sees that there might be hope for a victory.

So I know Edward was focusing on not being shocked....but HOW was he not able to read Bella's mind, once he was inside her shield? That's how she shares her mind with him at the end, no? She brings him into her shield and he's able to hear her.

I thought it was the opposite, so she's always a shield and now she's shielding someone other than herself, but when she lets edward see her mind for the first time she is dropping her shield for the first time allowing edward his first steps into her mind.

Because this was her first time being a shield and protecting someone. She started seeing what all she could do with this “shield power” at the end she’s had way more experience and is mastering her power! She can project images probably of the past when she wants which is different then reading ones mind.

I think he still isn’t able to read her mind… this is a huge reason why he was attracted to her b/c he can’t read her! But now she can share her thoughts with him which is actually kinna beautiful and full circle. Because she’s kind of awkward and doesn’t know how to express her self at times.

@@shumai607She sure is support, wouldn't say high in damage persay tho asides from being a new blood. My team of 5 would be Bella, Jane, Alec, Felix and Benjamin. Bella acts as a defence, Alec and Jane initiate with their attacks and do the shut down combo, Felix is a guardian/tank who is also dishing out big damage. Benjamin has elements so big damage and utility. He could be subbed out for Edward for the synergy with Bella and starting initiative as he can read minds 😂

I'm not sure about that actually. The vampires in the originals can be hurt by human weapons while the twilight vampires are only vulnerable to each other and fire as far as we know. The strength part maybe, but as far as body durability the twilight vampires might be stronger. Though klaus cannot be ended by anything but white oak so who knows haha

The originals have mind powers so that may be their real defense since twilight vampires rely so heavily on their gifts. Since originals can’t be mind screwed and witch powers are much like Janes and Klaus has been know to fight the aneurysms. I think the the witches would fair better against the twilight vamps. Also I wonder how Klaus’ venom would react to them or the the twilight werewolves.

There were a lot who didn't die actually. Like the human/vamp hybrid who Alice brought in. They lived. So did the girls from the jungle. Ben lived along with his family. Shit the first vampire dead was a white man! Twilight. The second a black man. The third a white woman plus THOUSANDS of young adults of many races white/black/Asian what not. Shit even the little bitty white girl who "lived" at the end of Eqlipse and Carlisle said he would take in was also killed. She was white too. So was the young white boy who Victoria said she loved. So in the first 3 movies alone 4 white vamps died(that we seen) and 1 black. That's not counting the thousand or so army guys of mixed races. Oh and let's not forget at the end of breaking dawn part two with Alice's vision Carlisle dies, leah dies, Jasper dies, Aro dies, Alec dies, Jane dies, Seth dies, Marcus dies. Not to many MANY other witnesses from both sides. Two are white wolves. The remaining white vampires. 1 black vampire is killed by Jacob. And that's just the vision which didn't happen. In the end though 1 white vampire was killed infront of her sisters in order to "try starting a reason for them being there." As Aro and his group realize they were basically called out for "just wanting to destroy a coven to gain power." So what's that count again or right about 1 black vamp 1 Asian vamp(this guy). 4 white vampires. And if we count the final battle vision that would be.. 1 more black vamp 2 white wolves 6+ white vamps. And that's just from the main characters.

Nah bro, Benjamin and the other ladies are alive and kind of play a major role in the movie/book. I haven't really watched twilight or read the books, I'm getting more into it now for inspiration for my own book so I don't know all of the characters names yet. Benjamin stuck out to me earlier because he can control the elements and that's a very cool power in my opinion.
