Nice video! Works really well. On clip four maybe the scoring window opens a couple of seconds early. I can't see the pedestrian at that point (On a large 4k monitor). In clip 5 it looks like a double hazard, both zebra crossings are tricky. But I can't see the first zebra crossing in the replay.

Heeeey thank you! On clip 4 the cars indicators flash giving you a clue it might be moving off or being unlocked, which could cause a hazard situation to develop. On clip 5 the first pedestrian crossing is a potential hazard, which you would click for, but it doesn't develop into an actual hazard that you need to stop, slow or swerve for. If that doesn't make sense watch the hazard perception training playlist! If you've got more questions though let me know! I'll be making more hazard perception videos SOON!

Sometimes a hazard is only a hazard if you allow it to be a hazard

The first clip think lemmings following each other. See the car coming out of the junction and expect the person behind to follow or be aware of them

Do you need to click multiple times in order to score higher? Or is it by how early in the score window you click that you get more points?
@DrivingSchoolTVАй бұрын
@@r4z0natorexe50 You need to click as early as possible when the hazard starts to get the most points. Check out the full training playlist to make sure you pass first time! kzbin.info/aero/PLWV7lt2OClXIkdudThXzsR-edPqzyBWC2

The 3 click method is generally best. That is to say, you click when you first see a potential hazard, you click again about a second later and then you click again when the hazard has become more obvious. The sooner you spot the hazard the more points you get but if you click too early then you would get 0 for that click (though you can click again, hence the 3 click method to make sure you get some points)

Have you got any tips on how to find driving test cancellations on DVLA? Thank you
@TheBenenenАй бұрын
I'd say just check multiple times a day, I was checking 3-5 times a day, at least, every single day. I eventually found a cancellation that was the right time and day for me, so keep trying and don't worry if you go a couple of weeks without finding one, if you keep checking you'll eventually find one! :)
@sarahallan5382Ай бұрын
@@TheBenenen thank you I am literally on it all day when I can 🤣 I have found one 5 weeks earlier I was just wondering if it was certain times off the day thank you for your replay
@DrivingSchoolTVАй бұрын
I agree with what Ben said! You just have to be REALLY persistent! Cancellations pop up regularly but they go fast. You need to be there when they're there or you'll miss it.

I was driving at 43/44 today in 40 speed limit because it was in the middle of the 60 limit that I did not realize and I failed. Zero minor but one single serious mistake. Examiner failed me for 43 in 40 zone.

Traffic lights, Zebra crossings are traffic rules, why are they treated under a hazard?
@DrivingSchoolTVАй бұрын
A hazard is anything that makes you stop slow or swerve. So a traffic light changing or a pedestrian on a crossing is something you need to plan for and react properly to 😊
@piyalhossain8317Ай бұрын
@@DrivingSchoolTV As per official updated Hazard Perception Videos (CGI), I didn't see any hazards based on traffic lights and pedestrians. If you refer to any, that would be better for us. Thanks for the reply.
@DrivingSchoolTVАй бұрын
@@piyalhossain8317 You can't see the official hazard clips they're secret so you can't know where or what the hazard is before you take your test. That would be kinda cheating lol but the videos are just supposed to be able to help you recognise and identify hazards in preparation. Hope you pass your test anyway 😊

@@DrivingSchoolTV Sorry for the misunderstanding, I referred the Driving Theory Test 4 in 1 Kit DVSA CGI videos.
