It took me several years to come to terms with the fact DJI normal color profiles and the Auto settings are pretty damn good, and a huge time saver.

23:15 The subtitles include telemetry data including GPS position that is sometimes useful to have, and it is completely free of downsides as it's text embedded in the file _as subtitle_ that can be turned off. You actual video is not affected. I'd recommend just always having it on.

Just bought a Mini 3 pro to replace a Mini 2 as I was missing the obstacle avoidance and tracking on my original Mavic Pro, but need a drone under 250 grams to fly in close proximity to people. Just be aware if you buy one that it doesn’t come with a charger apparently, even in the Fly more pack, unlike every DJI drone I’ve previously had. So good job the Mini 2 charger seems to be working with it!

It reminds me of back in the day when we had to have CB license to talk on a CB radio, but no one was ever checked, and very few even went to the trouble of getting the license and it faded away just like the remote ID wheel

Your videos are marvelous. I just got my Mini 3 Pro and your directions are helpful. The only problem I am having while getting oriented to everything is that the drone and camera have to be on to move around in these various menu settings and while you are cruising around in and out of settings you have been to many times, it take a newbie a few more seconds and then the drone overheats. The other small problem I am having which is related is that the touch screen does not respond so well to my touch and I find myself having to tap tap tap to get the screen transition to respond. That adds some time and meanwhile the drone is over heating.

good stuff. only comment I'd make is that if you editing pc can handle it, h265 is a no brainer. for a given bit rate it will give a better pic. 150mb/s at h265 vs 150mb/s at h264 is a massive difference for stuff like flying over forrest, grass, sea - stuff that really needs data. Once you edited, then can export at whatever you want and use the bitrate you need - but a bit like exposure - you can't get detail back if it's already lost as by blockiing compression artefacts. Seems to me one of the major benefits of the pro is H265 compatibility. maybe also worth saying that with new apple silicon macs, it's all done in hardware - decoding and encoding, so there's no editing performance penalty for using it.

Thank you for your splendid videos. Is there any possibility to enter the Go Fly app og the DJI RC controller without having to turn the drone on? As the weather here is bad for a long periode of time, i would like to make the right settings in the app but it seems to me i have to turn on the drone to do so. Turning on the drone, makes it very hot quickly, so i would like to be able to turn it on just to change the settings?

Some people rig up a fan to blow over the drone if they have to have it setting without flying to avoid or at least prolong the overheating.

Perhaps mentioned earlier, but the Subject Scanning option can only be set when airborne. This has to be done every time you fly.

Happy to help! It can be daunting at first when beginning to fly a drone but stick with it and it will get easier. These settings should give you slower and smoother results. I recommend the Freewell All Day 6 pack as that kit has the range of ND filters you will most often use on bright days.
