This is why I love the Dungeon Dive! Daniel’s reviews are insightful and informative. And he has a knack for finding gems that are off the beaten path. Great job!

Thanks for the overview! 😊I appreciate the game's commitment to exploring its fiction in the expansions, it's the sort of thing I'm into. Love the artwork - it reminds me of Tony DiTerlizzi too.

Daniel thank you for this very interesting (as always) video ! Allow me to say that I really appreciate you showcasing so many different games ! I am not a solo gamer (I prefer playing video games when I want to play solo) , but I still really enjoy your videos ! To be honest, most board game channels have HUGE overlap between them, showcasing only the newest, biggest and most expensive games, so your content feels like a breath of fresh air. Regarding this game, the art is indeed beautiful and it seems like a fun time !

Love and hate you, Daniel! It's been a second day I have been watching your old videos and thanks to you, I found many of the non mainstreem hidden gems. I made a list of several of them I need to own. The problems are basicaly three: they are hard to find if impossible, too expensive to get to (being from Europe the cost of shipping is not insignificant) and last but not least: I have no time to play them all if any of them. I wish the old titles that are not too heavy on the components were accesible as a pnp. The content you are creating is one of the best I found among the bordgame channels and your expertise in the more indie genre is highly valuable. Have you ever thought of creating your own board game?

Thank you for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I am currently working on my own solo game of questing and adventure called A Land in Peril. There is a design diary playlist on the channel! :)

I am really into the Campife expansion. I like that the story can expand the world without g burdening the game without constant (and often substandard) lore dumps or interactions. Optional lore seems like a good direction. So many fresh and compelling ideas! I love the chain/prismatic items combos.
@TheDungeonDiveАй бұрын
This game is just overflowing with unique things.
@walderjohanАй бұрын
it looks fonderful. As for the art it is interesting you find it unique, not that I don t like it, but here in Europe it is a very classic european comics style of artwork, line art with watercolor like colouring.
@TheDungeonDiveАй бұрын
Yep! I think I mentioned that it reminds me of French comic book art. It's unique in the world of fantasy board games, at least from the few hundred I've payed. :)

I ended up cancelling my pledge for this one. But one of the things I liked about this game is that it feels like it was designed to be a board game. It’s not just a board game trying to emulate a video game. I’ve wasted a lot of money on those types of games and none of them stayed in my collection.
@TheDungeonDiveАй бұрын
So true!
@jonathana629819 күн бұрын
I bought everything from their website and received it about a days ago. Early impressions, but is this game… awesome? Every other game with tile laying wishes they were as engaging as it is here. I’ll double down on my comment above. It’s a game designed to be a board game and not interested in emulating a video game.
