I am absolutely ashamed to know that people like Daniela Rus, a Romanian, from the same city I did at my university, Cluj Napoca, are actively supporting ISRAEL and taking blood money with such ease. I have seen how much the Romanian state is willing to be an active collaborator, give. Elbit Systems has a factory in Bacău and people there seem to have no issues with building weapons, drones that kill babies in Gaza, but to see this complicity at this level, it's just vomit inducing. not to mention, one of the 3 ICC judges, Iulia Motoc, also Romanian, retracted from the case against Netanyahu after months of silence on the process, and that led to further delay. Iulia Motoc is married to Mihnea Motoc, the former Defense Minister of Romania, now Romania representative to EU.Which companies do you think Mihnea regularly had contact with during his mandate. That's right, he had access to Elbit... to what extent the relationship was, it's not clearly stated but I wished you would do an investigation on Romania's role...

Amazing piece of information. Thank you. I am not surprised that Israeli have a drone manufacturer în Bacău. Given the current events in Palestine we know what the drones are used for. Romanians have been taught and brainwashed for centuries that their self worth is not at par with their western counterparts or the Americans. Always accepting low wage jobs and never questioning to what extent the work they’re rendering is impacting other people lives. I was always curious to know why did the Romanian judge at the ICJ court withdrew. Your explanation makes so much sense especially in view of the fact that Romania is a colony of the western powers and being a NATO member and a country very much so manipulated/blackmailed by Israel has to play the dirty game. The sad part is not only that Romania has been taken for a ride and its resources sequestered by the good guys in Bruxelles but not it has become a Russia target. 😢
@andreeahara939210 сағат бұрын
@georgestavri4474 Looking at the history of Romania, I cannot blame that much some disastrous decisions made, that put Romania on a path or another. BUT the worst that happened which was a direct decision of the GREAT POWERS, was drawing the border of USSR with Romania in it. That was Great Britain and United States. They directly became Gods and decided it's ok for a monarchy to become Communist. It wreaked havoc and 40 years of communism made the people that you still see today. Meek, easily impressionable, with a mini god complex (no idea why) and deeply amoral in some important aspects- take for example the allegiance to Israel. We see it now, fully, how slavish they are and the fact they celebrated being in NATO, without understanding the terrible price that they would pay (not United States!) for angering Putin, with this move, tells me their foreign affairs policy was fully written by US.

Accusation in a mirror (AiM) (also called mirror politics, mirror propaganda, mirror image propaganda, or a mirror argument) is a technique often used in the context of hate speech incitement, where one falsely attributes one's own motives and/or intentions to one's adversaries. Upholding an ethnocentric ideology and defence of such ideology is turned into an existential crisis. Ethnocentrism is a major factor in the divisions among members of different ethnicities, races, and religious groups. It's the belief that one's ethnic group is superior to another. Ethnocentric individuals believe they are better than other individuals for reasons based solely on their heritage.

I have a huge passion for science and listen to a large number of different podcasts such as Sean Carroll's Mindscape for example. While I have always taken great care to listen only to people who have an authentic commitment to sharing scientific knowledge I have been more than just a little bit disappointed how the vast majority of these people have largely ignored what is happening in Gaza and how it reflects so badly on many of the great educational and intellectual establishments throughout the Western world and more specifically in America. There are one or two exceptions, such as Robinson's podcast who has interviewed a number of Palestinian intellectual advocates but for the most part it's been swept under the carpet. I can really only express my greatest admiration for the young intellectuals of to Morrow who are bravely risking their own future to stand up for what is right.

Those presidents may have deserved to lose their positions. They seemed completely unprepared to answer questions and pushback. It was asserted antisemitic attacks were taking place on the campuses, but i don't recall either president stating there was no credible and verifiable evidence of such allegations. There was no assertion of freedom of speech and how what had been observed didn't constitute hate speech. Nor did they pushback on 'from the river to the sea' constituting hate speech. Those presidents were attempting to appease people rather than fight for students and their jobs. Their cowardice didn't serve them, the students, the institutions nor the country well.
