I think I’ve seen somewhere where people didn’t have much self-confidence when they were younger and they when they grew up and grew into their looks, get all these compliments from everywhere, not so much when they were younger, can get be a bit too much. I think he does know he’s attractive, but not to the same extent we see him on, and on some days doesn’t think that, could be possibly seeing himself when he was younger.

I'm not so sure about that. Dave suffering from PTSD is crucial to the whole story and the ending sends such a strong message to others who deal with it as well. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bodyguard so much I ended up bingeing it in one day, but in my opinion a second season would probably weaken the end of the first one.

Alison Smith Lol, have you never seen Sean Connery as James Bond? He’s as Scottish as they come. Also if you’ve seen _Skyfall_ you’ll know that Bond was raised in Scotland. What’s more, in the books he has a Scottish father and was educated at Fettes School in Edinburgh. So there’s an absolutely no problem with Bond having a Scottish accent.
