What's your opinion of the Marian apparitions in Cairo, Egypt ? Between 1968-1971 about once a week appeared the Virgin. The government cut off power in a 15 mile radius of the church but the apparitions continued. Had the hologram been invented in 1968 ? The Coptic priests believe it was for real.

Its easy to get lost in a landslide of symbols and allegories when every major occult tradition is containing/hiding/revealing much the same information. Much like the countless thousands of love songs can on the surface seem nothing alike but they are all really about the same thing. Even getting "Jiggy With It?"

Been a subscriber of both Esoterica and Foolish Fish for some time now. Esoterica has been great for an in-depth academic standpoint. Dr. Sledge shows his amazing breadth of knowledge in every video. Everything is always succinctly explained yet always pleasantly lighthearted. At Foolish Fish, I've also found incredibly insightful information but from a more practical standpoint which is equally amazing. This was definitely a pleasant surprise! Please continue making this much-needed content!

So interesting to hear Denis talking about the influence of Tantra. Maybe it is because I am an avid viewer of Foolish Fish, but I have been coming to a similar conclusion. As a Kejawen follower I frequently read about the influence of Theosophy, but I somehow find this overstated. Of course Sufism is an important influence. But I am coming to believe the Shaivism and Vajrayana of the Majapahit to be the most important influence. Looking forward to hearing Denis talk about Tibetan Buddhism once he's investigated it.

I just read the entire Bible , 1984 NIV, for the first time and I had the same experience. I did not expect it to be a self-denigrating Jewish saga. I didn't expect it to be so honest about the human struggle with God's character. It could take a lifetime to grasp it's wisdom and literary genius! I'm a little bit obsessed with listening to scholarly lectures and commentaries. I plan to read it again and again.

What a great Collab. I always wondered if there will be an exchange of Dr. Sledge and Channels like FF. Delighted to see it happen. The interview of both sides was really enjoyable. FF was my starting point in contemporary esoteric books at least. But IMHO from a practical point of view and as former member of FFs discord, the content presented there is still one sided and you outgrow it fairly quickly. The Newsformat of FF still worth it though.

The main reason the western mind chasing difficulty grasping tantra is often because they view things as "self development" or "acquisition of power", it's a consumptive stance. However I believe the spirit of tantra is to take part in maintaining the universe and to those higher aspects which hold principality.
