The PUMA is a fantastic vehicle and I have never understood the hate for it. After playing the version with SPIKES it has reaffirmed my opinion of it being a fantastic vehicle. Easily the king of the light tanks.

I think that puma has no reason being 11.0 since the freccia with more spikes is at 10.7. The only thing it has goinig for it compared to the freccia is the survivability and unmanned turret which is useless cuz youll just get ammo racked and your ammo and missiles are just gone. In my experience an ammo explosion destroys the tracks too for some reason leaving you immobilized and unable to fight back so youre practically dead. What once seeamed a very tough ifv is now just useless with the new detailed damage modules. and at that high of a br youll just get penetrated by anything so its armor is also pretty irrelevant in 90% of engagements...

No you should be comparing it to the kf41 which is 11.3 I believe if not 11.7 so it’s quite fair, unless my kf41 should be lower br as well seeing as the kf41 is slightly worse than the the puma

2s38 cannot pen you frontally as well. Its lack of mobility is one of its biggest drawbacks.

"King of light tanks"🤣 I would rather use the Begleit; Namer; Type 89; FRECCIA; ZBD04a; or CV9040 Bill at 12.0 than play the PUMA at 11.0. This thing is horrible to play. The stock experience is awful (Spikes love to miss, and the APDS shatters 80% of the time). The AHEAD rounds are 100% RNG, sometimes it takes 1 shot, other times 12. Every time you get hit in the turret, you burn for 10 days, plus you’re stuck with 40 days of repair, losing 200 rounds and 2 spikes. Oh, and both tracks, too. And the argument that it’s "hard to kill" is BS. Just because it takes 2-3 shots to finish off the vehicle doesn’t mean it’s hard. Usually, the first hit disables/destroys the engine, FCS (gun and spikes), and ammo.

The AHEAD rounds are actually quite good imo. They catch a lot of people of guard who are expecting direct fire

9:52 yes they lack air to air other than helis but funny enough the spikes are more maneuverable than you think. I’ve took out a couple of f-16s and A-10s😂😂

A weird thing with the VJTF is, that you can only carry two types of ammo belts. The standard one can carry four different ones. Kind of weird.

2s38 is 5x better. This only has better survivability against other auto canons, which are far and few between compared to 105mm+ guns

I dunno if its only me but spike puma isn't that bad tbh, i play with it in 12.0 br most of times, it takes choppers and planes down like a boss. Against ground targets it aint that bad either.

Yeah and the dardo was 8.7/9.0 back when the puma was introduced me and my brother went around together and he would Scout every enemy and I would be his surrogate missile launcher using two 2s to destroy tanks as a hunter killer team

puma for me as 5000+ hours player is a 2 top light tank of course the 1top light tank for me is 2s38 but for only 1 reason yes puma survivability is way better than 2s38 but the 1 reason is the gun 57mm with 250mm pen and he tv for anti-air every 1 second take the cake for me but only if they can fix spike missile and can get consistent damage than only then i can put puma at top1 of light tank

U aren't supposed to be hit in a light tank, if u don't think the 2s38 is better then the puma it is 100% a skill issue, not to mention that the bmp2m exists and is way better then both as it is way more mobile and has way better anti tank weapons
