Patrick Williams 💯💯💯💯 exactly... I believe in that too
@annaleahandrews57202 жыл бұрын
@Patrick Williams Wow you probably won't ever see this because im two years behind actually reading the comments. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun saved my life several years ago and I have been a proud Bandito member of the clique ever sense because I feel like Tyler's lyrics are written from a place that he's able to go inside himself that gifts him to be able to read and understand others struggles and suffering because he's dealing with depression anxiety self harm and suicidal thoughts. What you said happened in that grocery store explained perfectly what I've never been able to put into words what and how I think Tyler's writing is so pure and sincere because he can see in others the suffering he feels and is able to write music that acts like that hug you gave that women. I like Tyler and Josh am a devoted Christian and 100% believe that God can and does work through us sometimes. Im not in any way trying to say that you're a Christian because that's not up to me to judge so I respect whatever it is that are you're spiritual beliefs. Im only saying that my Christianity gives me faith to know God does work through us to benefit others and your comment so beautifully explained what I haven't been able to ever since Tyler's lyrics saved my life. Wow you blew my mind!! Thank you for sharing this because it is truly inspiring. You never know what small act of kindness can do for a person who is suffering. In this day in age to have the courage to see what was happening to this poor women and doing what you truly felt she needed even if she didn't realize it herself was just amazing to me. I don't know you but from this comment I think you're a truly incredible human being that genuinely cares deeply for people you don't even know. Just like Tyler Joseph.... God bless you my fren 🙏❤️🙏

@@annaleahandrews5720 ...and now I'm 11 months behind you, and holy hell, he got the point of the song within one listen of the first verse...yeah, it's about life and it's meaning, and how that can twist us up in so many ways when we are forced to think about it...but in the end, what else can we really do if we want to feel truly "Alive" ?...

I’ve watched a lot of reactors but this is by far my favorite one. He’s the first person I haven’t skipped over when he’d talk about the song, because he nails every thing he sees and feels. He perceives the music the way the artist intends it to be, and it goes over a lot of people’s heads. I don’t subscribe to reactor channels, but I will to this one.

Know I'm late, but something I haven't seen anyone who reviews this say: at the end, he carefully folds the mask. He doesn't throw it away. No matter who or what persona he is showing, he is taking care of that mask. In case he needs it again. Depression, PTSD, c-PTSD, anxiety... A lot of mental illnesses force the sufferer to hide behind a mask because even though we are becoming more aware and accepting, there is still such a stigma, and a fear of showing it. A fear of rejection for just being authentic, flaws and all. And for those suffering, it is too much to ask them to not only suffer from their illness, but to suffer being judged and rejected. I have other thoughts on this song, but since its been out a while, a lot of reviewers have gotten a lot of it right, or opened my eyes to other interpretations. But no one has commented on that ending. That for him, it is not over. He knows it is not over. So he is taking care of his mask. Enjoyed the review though. I hope to join in taking apart songs for their meanings some day, since a lot of people are too hectic in their lives to really dive deep and find the meaning. So thanks for that.

My youngest son got me into these guys. The first concert of their I attended of theirs I simply stood listening to the words and, as a true lover of poetry, tried to wrap my head around their meaning. I didn't dance around. I simply stood in contempation. After the concert the people behind me made jokes about my behavior. They said it must be how people born in the 80s go to concerts. I thought two things. 1) I was born when Nixon was president, idiots. 2) who had the better experience tonight? The ones who can have a memory of a good time, or the one who walks away with words to ponder, questions to ask, observations to make, hope to find a deeper meaning in one's life? My guess after listening to Tyler and Joseph for so many years is that they would say the latter.
@sherylh25704 жыл бұрын
You’re doing awesome with your breakdowns! Tyler’s lyrics are made to be vague enough for the listener to put there own “spin” on the song and get what they need out of it.
