One of my absolute favorites from FORESTELLA and once again shows their versatility and exceptional brilliance. Only 4 voices and what a tremendous impression they leave. These unusual (dissonant) harmonies, so powerful, haunting, ominous and mesmerizing. Their unique voices, ranges, pitches, absolutely underlining the topic. This version is just awesome and I love it a lot.

This song is an interesting mix of different genres. Forestella did a great job covering it. In some parts of the song, Kang Hyungho almost sounded like a flute instrument. There is also a video without dancers, but I thought you would prefer this one. 🙂 There are several ways to interpret the lyrics, and as always, I appreciate your thoughts and insights. Thanks Fil!

Thanks for your sincere reaction to Forestella again! This is OST of the Japanese animation Ghost in the Shell in Russian, English and Latin. Forestella opened the last round of Phantom Singer All Stars like this! I heard from online audience there was a long silence after finishing the song. Forestella selected and contacted the dancer team (Dellomez) to complete their performance. They directed the choreos by exchanging feedbacks with dancer team to express what they intended in it as well. The main theme of this song was asking oneself about "What identifies who I am?". Sorry for spoiling the story of the Ghost in the Shell, I believe they took the theme from 1995 theater version, (I copied and pasted some explanation from Wikipedia tho) in this post-cyberpunk iteration of a possible future, computer technology has advanced to the point that many members of the public possess cyberbrains, technology that allows them to interface their biological brain with various networks. The level of cyberization varies from simple minimal interfaces to almost complete replacement of the brain with cybernetic parts, in cases of severe trauma. An often-mentioned term is "ghost", referring to the consciousness inhabiting the body (the "shell") But a hacker whom is called Puppet Master controlled people by hacking the cyberbrain(ghost) and hacked people are not aware of wrong memory or being hacked till the hacker control them. The scene before starting the song showed the people living usual life (dancers moving here and there casually) but they all stopped when the Puppet-master (singers) commanded something (started to sing). The protagonist in Ghost in the Shell is a cop chasing the hacker. She came to ask herself "if my memory is incompete and unsafe from hacking, what makes me identify 'myself' then?" This is serious question of self-identification we also could have.

This song became my favorite because it was the opening for Forestella's concert last year. ❤❤❤ I remember being shocked as soon as it started... I knew that Kang Hyung-ho's high pitch was a very good song, but when I heard it on set, Go Woo-rim's low-pitched voice shook my whole body. There is a part that worries me a little in this video. Since jtbc's copyright blocking is very strong, it's good to be careful when uploading videos.

Juggling the Quanticy of whether or not I’m real. What do these Demons my Primality in nature mean for me other than survival. And if I’m fake then what even is survival. Angels in my ears and heart tell me there is more without showing, a piece of me Longing and searching for the divinity within my sinful soul. And a Longing to become something better thats genuine. But reverting back into Primality because it’s nature. And hating myself for it all the while. Why do I exist. Do we? And are we truly separate consciousness or all individual actors in a play so convinced that this is real when in reality we aren’t real but all the figments of someone or something else’s dream… What does it mean to be real… are you really you?
