A Little Imagination The doll was brought to the Pink Palace by Wybie, silly, and Mrs. Lovatt's sister could've carried it around to the other apts.. Plus, it's been at the Lovatt's house and who knows where else for decades and if it moves around by itself it could've gone everywhere around there when nobody was looking. You should watch the "Coraline Core Theory" and all The Fangirl's other Coraline videos because she theorizes about the doll in many other vids. There's even a video about the doll itself! I just realized something that proves your limbo pink palace theory. In the beginning it shows a clip of the beldam making the doll to look like Coraline and then she puts it out the window to float to where Wybie found it. I realized that if the Beldam was in the other world why would she put it out the window to get it to Coraline? This has me thinking that she might have been in the real world making that doll. This means that the Beldam has the power to travel between worlds so why didn’t she just break through the door or something like that when Coraline locked her in during her final escape. Simple answer: She knew Coraline was trapped and had no reason too. Also maybe the Beldam was moving the doll herself to lead Coraline to the door and then created the illusion of the brick wall when the real mom opened it.

What if that child is his son like i can imagine... Him with his wife (at that time) move to the pink palace with a little children but one day this kid find out about a secret hole (so Belman do her thing). Then after the children "disappear". He begin to drink a lot frequently losing his sanity and making his wife leaving him alone.

Something I just thought of, the Beldam's ability to control the world depends on how much energy she had when she made the object, and the order that she made it in. To ballpark: 50% for the entire world, no people 10% to make herself look like the mother and hold it continuously 10% to make the father and make him obedient 20% for neighbors obedience 5% for the animals and things like clothes and food 5% left to make Wybie, an afterthought because Coraline didn't like him as a friend until AFTER she entered the world for the first time He isn't obedient because she didn't plan on making him until they became friends, unbeknownst to Coraline who has yet to admit to herself she likes his company. That's why he has the loosest mouth about the danger. The less energy she has when she makes something, the less convincing it is. That's also why Bobinsky is open about Coraline never escaping the mother. She's starving and barely able to hold things together, so other Wybie "dies" first and the house goes last.

Is it possible the real reason the beldam wants coraline is because she wants coralines mothers and fathers hearts or worse she doesnt want coreline at all she wants to trap coreline in the other world so when the door is left open she can get over in the real world and turn into coraline so she can literally eat up her life she can literally take coralines place as the daughter in her mothers heart so in a way she does get love but from the real mothers and father and the only reasons she sews buttons in the kids eyes is so she can form again but this time when she sews the buttons on she takes the eyes out and uses them for her so she can look normal and stay young while coraline turns into the beldam.

Why would Mac, such a mild mannered and polite child, create an imaginary friend who’s impulsive, selfish and destructive? Or maybe a psychological analysis of Goo (who is my favorite character).

I know this maybe out of context but in the book when coraline makes the deal with the other mother for her parents coraline asks how she knows that the beldam would keep her word and initially the beldam says she swears on her own mothers grave. Coraline asks the beldam if her mother even has a grave to which the beldam says that yes she does and that when she tried to crawl out of it the beldam shoved her back in. I know its not the movie but is food for a future theory.

It has been mentioned that the candies could be years the ghost children are lured into the pink palace. Coraline gets her triangle seeing thing from one of these candies. Could the ghost children also have something in their candy bowls to escape but never got them because they wanted to stay ?

I just realised something so we already know bobinsky was the sweet girls other father but I think that perhaps Mrs. Forcible (The tall one) has a long face and is tall much like the pioneer girl so would her other mother and Mrs. Spink (The short one) has a very round face much like the huckleberry boy so she would be his other mother

I always found it weird that they stuffed their dead dogs the way she said couldn't bare to part with them so we had them stuffed. That line just I feel like it meant something lol like it was trying to say something about them. Same as how the beldam can't bare to part with Coraline at the end when she screams don't leave me don't leave me! Also the fact that they knew what to give Coraline even though Coraline gives them very little information she doesn't tell them about her "dream" the door the other mother nor does she provide any information to them other than her parents went missing almost like what Mrs Lovat told people that happened to her sister she went missing also and just so happen to give Coraline exactly the protection she needed. Also the fact that they are actresses they may be old but I'm sure they might be able to "act" like they don't know what's going on even though they might know everything about the beldam. At least in the book we know this is true as they warn Coraline about the well as the movie just starts with the making of a doll then pans to bobinski exercising on the roof as the Jones move in however I did notice that even though this is how the movie starts somehow April says hello Caroline and she replies with still Coraline ms finc which make me assume they had met earlier and it's just never shown. Anyway my apologies for this being so long but my point is I always found those two fishy. As for bobinski I think I might need more research on that mouse circus cheese loving beat eating amazing weirdo lol

What if when the ‘old’ beldam dies the child/person she captured or did whatever with adult form is sent back into the real pink palace and can’t leave, and the child’s ghost is locked in the mirror that the beldam put Coraline in! And maybe there are only 3 children in the mirror because there are many other ‘beldams’! Maybe the beldam Coraline saw is the 3rd beldam to be in the pink palace! What if... the original beldam, in the pink palace, lived on the actual pink palace... but the people there made her leave, so she’s getting revenge on the parents by taking their children!

Here's a big fat thick juicy theory for you. Coraline never escaped the other world but whatever happened to the Coraline and the other mother world. Coraline is stuck in the other mothers world and the button Coraline will she. Has probably gone to Coraline's world and killed her parents. The cat also tricked her and is working with the other mother. The other father Have no consent of this he was obviously tricked into doing this. There's a theory.

Okay, okay, okay, I’ve asked before, and I have some evidence to contradict your answer. If the Beldam can only create carbon copies of people who have entered the other world, how did she get copies of Coraline parents, or Wybie? I know your answer, that Wybie secretly explored, and Coraline parents checked out the house and came across the Other World. BUT!!! If Wybie and Coraline’s parents walked into the other world, why is there still wallpaper on the wall surrounding the door? Surely it would have been ripped if it was already found. And, at the beginning of the movie they had just moved in, probably not enough time to check out the apartment.
