We are considering your community and thank you for video giving a glimpse into it. Wonderful information about the housing. Can you let us know what rentals pricing may be there? Thank you so much. Dee

If you enjoy 40 days and 40 nights straight rain, then PA is for you!!

Visited there last winter. Went to the A&W to get something to eat because usually their nice and it is a dump. Just like the old one they had. I prefer the north way more even if it is cold way more sun not far from the mountains of Jasper and crisp clean air and so many jobs. Quality of life is just better after living in port for 10 years don’t move there it’s not worth it. Summers are nice there.

I wish I could have this guys enthusiasm for PA but this place is a really sad. So many social problems, antiquated infrastructure and poor planning...but that pretty much describes the entire island right now....However...the hospital here is great, there are lots of police and the summer weather rivals the O.K.

Amazing how people assume everyone has a car and a house to flip when you want to downsize. Everything interesting requires a car and $$$$$

Kinda far from Nanaimo or Victoria. Other than that it’s nice enough.

Coming from someone who lives here, it's absolute shit, homeless people are everywhere
@martinsmith5520 Жыл бұрын
@@spoon594 really? Usually homeless people flock to big cities, not small towns of 25,000 people. I've done some research and there are only 125 homeless people there. That's a survey from 2021

There are druggies everywhere too mainly 3rd Ave but I've seen some as high as 15th rummaging through peoples recycling and stealing things off of porches, I've had a hose stolen from the outside of my house if that brings you to perspective

Couldn't possibly disagree more, there is no value to this town aside from the nearby first nations communities. Schooling could not have disappointed me more either. Everything about this town is miserable, in order to have any semblance of value it needs something to come back for, I've lived here for 11 years and there is still nothing.
