Yes I am planning to do something concrete. But as of now, its very risky for an individual to fight against these missionaries and brain washed converts. Iam not a part of whatsapp groups of my cast, or else i would have known more stuff. Every now and then there are forwards regarding how tribals are different from Hindus and we should stay away from Hindus, its Bjp's propaganda and all that stuff. There is also some law under which tribals aren't considered Hindus, maybe, tribals dont fall under Hindu marriage act, thats what these forwards say. I have very less knowledge about all this to counterpart them.

@@snsingh1362 Half knowledge is dangerous. What you say is a simplistic and stereotyped explanation fed into you by vested interests. Nehru was not particularly keen on Northeastern tribals converting to Christianity. Advised by Verrier Elwin, a Christian missionary who embraced Hinduism and Buddhism and married a tribal girl, Nehru wanted to preserve the tribal religions and culture as it was, though he didn't much to stop conversions. His daughter, Indira Gandhi, contrary to popular perception, was vehemently opposed to conversions as she got intelligence reports that secessionism in the NE was caused by Christians. In fact, she wholeheartedly backed the Dhony Polo mission in Arunachal Pradesh and effectively used the Inner Line Permit to prevent Christian missionaries from entering Arunachal Pradesh. The Christian conversions in Arunachal Pradesh took place because of the missionary schools set up along the border in Assam. When you make a sweeping statement that Christianity fomented secessionism in NE, you forget that Christianity is not a monolithic structure. In NE there were the Trumpet church promoted by American missionaries, Scottish Presbyterian Church promoted by Anglicans and Catholicism promoted by European and South Indian missionaries. It's only in Nagaland and Mizoram, there were strong insurgencies. The Christian majority Meghalaya has never raised the demand for independence. It's true some missionaries in Nagaland openly campaigned for independence. That alone doesn't explain the Naga rebellion. Nagas are intelligent and very proud of their identity. Missionaries brought education. Education opened their eyes to the injustice meted out to the by successive governments at the centre. This is what made them rebel. Don't think that all missionaries were Anti-Indian. Many of them loved the tribal culture. It was they who created a script for many tribal languages. They became one with the people in lifestyle and died here as a tribal. NE phenomenon is very complex. Most people adopt a condescending attitude towards them and weave simplistic narratives about their transformation in the last two centuries. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Contrary to popular belief, Tribal Religion is related to Animism not Hinduism. The researcher should stop drawing parallels between Hinduism and other indigenous faiths just to prove her point and spread Hinduism among Tribals and discard Animism among them. And assuming these tribals were Hindus, then, why did they abandon Hinduism?? Definitely, not for the sake of joy but for the systematic racial and ethnic discrimination they had been facing since a long time in Hinduism!! Hinduism starts with Caste System and ends with Social Discrimination in which these simple and easy going Tribals are not comfortable living in, therefore, decided to abandon Hinduism altogether.

In all Hilly/remote regions of India, the people follow the ancient form of Hindu Dharma which is basically Shaivism with a local flavour as per local language and customs (from kuldevi/devta, ghar devta, gram devta etc.). UttarPurva Bhaarat 🙏 It is easy to deny the roots when you have been told that your so called religion is the best in the world !! Sanatan is not about oneself, It is about All........ The reality of the world is that migrations happened and then came forced conversions from so called supreme religions. Roots are still there and the cover up of falsehood will shed slowly... I would really like to see the sources of the professor regarding the pre-British Mizo religion because that is not at all what the actual religion of Mizos was. For instance, the concept of 'Pathian' is a christian one and is introduced by the missionaries to denote the god of Christianity. Just one inaccuracy amongst many.

We Mizo are never Hindu's. She is lying. We have only one God in the past that is Pathian. We are not polytheist in the past but a monotheists. She is trying to create a conflict between the religions.

The missionaries did not introduce the term 'Pathian'. The Mizo people already had used that term to denote a supreme deity. In fact, you could say, the old Mizo religion had more in common with ancient Pre-Buddhist eastern religions than Hindu religion.

The way you compared by saying that just because their religion have a creator and destroyer, they must be related to Brahma and Shiva. I guess it's your lucky day, you'll find thousands and thousands of folk religions who believe in creator and destroyer. So they are Hindus by your terms "Basically". Lemme ask you, will you accept if I say that Hinduism actually emerged out of an indigenous north-eastern folk religion such as "Songsarek" and the Hinduism you guys are following is "basically" just a corrupted form of "Songsarek", will you accept it? What makes you think every religion came out of your religion, what if it came out of some other religion. Tribals never had any written script , that's why we don't know how old their religion but tribals got their own oral folklores, they got stories of creation, they believe they were the first humans created by their God just like you guys think about your God. They also believe other people "basically" follow some corrupted form of their religion. You have no way to prove them wrong. Whatever you said was your superiority complex at its peak.

Biswadeep Pal 卐 ॐ People who are converted will never accept ,they can not. Because , they are captive to that idea. I don’t want an argument here. This is my opinion. Converted has to really look inside. As long as they are in that eco system they never will be in a situation to think, leave alone accepting. So much negativity been injected in many forms. Either converted has to meet a situation or a person that should bring to that point of thinking till then ‘ India before British was uncultured, they don’t know anything , all given by white guys, British gave railways, roads , great English , on and on..’ that list never ends, and this will be fed constantly in an eco system so that they hate their ancestors, and hate the neighbors and their culture.. There is so much to type .. lol 😂.. You can’t convince any converted , it’s aggravates more because I am fighting an individual who is fighting from a bubble ( eco system ) .. it never ends. So if you ask me what’s the solution.. nothing.. time .. because false is false. Just see , in US, 60% of youth won’t associate with any religion, and more fun is they rather associated with religions like sanathana dharma or Buddhism something which has meditation.. what made them this way, it’s their falsehood.. Eventually Christianity, Jewish , Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism will be dead. People will adopt to sanathana dharma where respect for everything will be paramount including animals

All those who gave up their native faith which is part of Hinduism, must be made to know that they are carrying the curses of their ancestors for not abiding by generations of family values, traditions, and native culture, all of which are dear to their ancestors. Getting converted means opening the doors to invite ancestral curses. This message must be loud and clear to converts in the northeast, and to all converts across India. Missionaries convert by telling that idol worship is sin, and God cannot be present in images made of stone. God is present everywhere and in anything including the atom, the subatomic particle and the idols. He came out of a pillar as Lord Narasimha to save his devotee Prahalad. To say God cannot be in idols, is attributing limitations to His infinitely glorious powers. The missionaries have a unique revengeful cruel god who has no power and cannot become small so as to be present anywhere and in idols, and who condemns innocent people to eternal hell fire. This is the second message to converts In the northeast and all across India.
