I have been investing and trading for more than 30 years but was hardly making decent returns. As a long-term investor, a lot of your gains are unrealised as you want to hold onto compounders for many years. Case in point: A lot of Buffett's gains are unrealised. Hope this explains!

Been up and down from 2022 but rebounded back in 2023 and read adam khoos book ' winning the game of stocks' which help me to understand more of the TA perspective and FA which helped me to make better decisions. 2024 and beyond goals will want to crush the bull mkt and hopefully fulfil my bucket lists

Actually if you realise, Adam is older in age and may not have a long runway (maybe 10-20 years) before he expires Comparatively to a younger investor with 40-50 years down the road before he/she expires, the probability of Tencent rebounding to its glorious days and returns compounding to a huge sum are higher compared to him So prolly thats why he is making this move
