@@Don2Boxeo In a world title fight, it's agreeable. For sure. But my favorite KO was Alexis Arguello over Kevin Rooney. I know it was a nothing fight, just a warm-up for AA's failed title challenge to Aaron Pryor, but that right hand he landed was the most perfect punch I ever saw. Tommy Hearns landed some great rights too. As far as left hooks, your pick of Robinson over Fullmer is probably top. Also, Jersey Joe Walcott taking the title from Ezzard Charles.

@@heavenhelp1982 Arguello was magic... It's hard to beat a left-hook KO to the body. My favourite is probably Mickey Ward v Sanchez, in a fight he'd been dominated in from start to finish.

Love listening to Teddy and love his enthusiasm for the sport. I could listen to him talk boxing all day. My personal favourite knockout is Rocky Marciano against Jersey Joe Walcott. As Teddy says, Marciano needed a knockout by the thirteenth round but he couldn't just waste punches. Marciano walked Walcott down and set him up perfectly for the knockout punch. Beautiful.

I fell like Like Teddy was tryna send a message here to Tyson ! And that message is that, the night Tyson won the Heavy weight championships, Teddy was proud of him, and he should have been there with him ! He never got a chance to tell Tyson that, because of what happened between them.. Teddy was almost like a father to Tyson, and in way he is. Teddy poured all his knowledge into Tyson, in a sense a part of Teddy and Cus lives in Tyson, through their skill set that they past on, and trained into Him. Teddy didn’t get a chance to be that proud father that night, it has to hurt. I’m sure in some ways at that time, in Tyson’s history he felt that he wasn’t capable of being loved, for all the things he did in the past. Teddy and Tyson we’re developing that father son bond, but the hatred, guilt, shame Tyson had within in himself manifested outside through his actions. Which led to Teddy leaving the camp. It’s like the biggest threat to Tyson was being loved, so he found a way to force Teddy out.. It’s very sad story..This is all nonsense, and just what I’m thinking listening to this interview

Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham. Herol was fighting the perfect fight making Julian miss everything and landing good punches throughout the first 3 rounds with Jackson hurt in the second round and his eye swelling up caused by a beautiful counter punch from Graham. The referee thought about stopping it at the end of the 3rd round but decided to give Jackson one more round. And in that round we see Jackson land a devastating KO, one of the hardest punches ever seen and a scary knockout.

Great episode, thank you guys! But why give away the "Winner" first? It tends to get more exciting if you save Nr 1 for last. But it was great! Jimmy Hendrix might have had the guitar "up side down", he did not have money to buy a left haded one so he converted a right hand guitar but reordering the strings so he was NOT really playing upside down. However he kept the pickups in the original order so now every pickup he had on there is made for another string. it made a very original sound right off the bat.

Yeah , please talk about Jack Johnson, his boxing career. As great as he is it seems he doesn't get enough credit for his boxing. In few instances one can see that he could be really ferocious (Burns KO). People say he was too defensive but only did it to draw bigger crowds , he couldn't start knocking boxers left and right like he could . He was doing same thing as Ali did later, come and see me loose

I watched Sugar Ray knock out Fullmer the brute. Everyone must remember Ray was deeply in decline when he fought Fullmer and Basilio. As Bert Randolph Sugar said “ it broke my heart to see Ray struggle with Basilio and Fullmer who he would have easily beaten in his prime. Basilio and Fuller were both terrific fighters but not in Rays class in his prime. He was unquestionably the greatest WW of all time. Had he had a chance he would have been LW champion but was not given a shot because of his color. He was the number 1 WW contender for years before they let him fight for the title. Amazing fighter.

Its not brazilian juijitsu.... Its Kodakan Judo but the ground game of judo (Newaza) because the gracies were not good with the throws and takedowns of Judo. A Japanese 6th degree judo black belt named Mitsuya Maeda moved to Brazil and needed a favor from a senator named Gracie. He agreed as long as a Maeda taught his son and nephew kodakan judo and ju jutsu..... He taught Helio and Carson gracie. They marketed it as Brazilian and sold it as such.
