Fact #1) Ruiz adjusted to the distance from the initial jabs taken by AJ to Ruiz utilizing good head bobbing and weaving. The head moving allowed Ruiz to sneak into range. Fact #2) AJ does the same pop, pop, punch combinations that enabled Ruiz to gain his TIMING. Fact #3) Ruiz utilize another excellent boxing basic movement, which was PARRING AJ's predicted combinations. Fact #4) once Ruiz got inside, he owned the pocket to which he dropped AJ 4-TIMES. All of the subtle movements that Ruiz displayed proved that he has a higher ring IQ compared to AJ. How? Fact #5) Ruiz ADJUSTED instantly after the knock down! And even though AJ made an adjustment and tried to stay out of the pocket for two rounds by popping his jab, Ruiz readjusted and got in. So, given the application of the basic boxing fundamentals, you cannot compare Ruiz to Bori or any other person. Why? 1) Only Klitschko dropped AJ prior to Ruiz. 2) Ruiz did it methodically with technique. 3) He dropped AJ 4-Times! And 4) Bori did not show any of the adjustments like Ruiz.
