I feel you bro! My whole childhood was spent listening to comments such as "Men! That only want one thing." And "Men are worthless!" And the all powerful simply "MEN!!!" I grew up hating other men and working hard to mold myself into the kind of man that I'd been taught that women wanted. I had no male friends or female for that matter. I was alone. The guys hated me because I looked down on them and the girls didn't trust me because they thought that I was phony and weak. I couldn't understand why the girls kept going out with the assholes with the nice cars who treated them like shit. These guys would do anything to win. They'd do anything to get what they wanted. Lie, cheat, steal, break the law... It wasn't until I was in my 30s that I realized that it was the same qualities that made them jerks that gave them an advantage with women. They play to win. At ANY cost. They were cocky and arrogant which is extreme confidence and they were expert at destroying other men's (boy's) confidence. They were hard working and socially adept so they had high earning potential and could lie convincingly. Lastly they had no integrity and didn't mind lying to someone's face to accomplish they're goal or to get away with whatever crimes they were committing. (Including on a few occasions rape.) Guys like this have always disgusted me. BUT!!! What if I could take the beneficial aspects of this way of being and hold onto my integrity and virtue, 🤔 I wondered. Is there a way to develope the level of success without becoming a criminal? Can I win without cheating and being a jerk. I started kind of late, but I'm now focusing on building mastery of myself and cultivating skills that will help me be an amazing provider without being a jerk or a criminal.

Well i mean deep down psychological i think it's just a serious lack of "Love" in relationships now. If you take away the "nice cars", eating out, bars, social media etc. All that, where is that crucial "Human Connection" ?? take away your average young couple's smartphones especially, where is their real connection with eachother. It's like so many young people especially have just became very shallow, and it's all about - "oh look at us!" look at how cool we are as a couple, and all this keep throwing up tons of selfies, and pics of yourselves as a couple. All that bs. Instead of actually enjoying eachother's company, really getting to know eachother deep down, on a personal level, to such a point you can tell the other your most personal things. Like REAL Human Connection, that's what seems to be sorely lacking. these young couples it's like they're more focused on EVERYONE seeing them, and standing out that they are actually eachother. When the woman is saying things like the kind of guy she wants absolutely has to be earning atleast 30k, has a really nice car. is toned and muscular, of a certain height, AND is "Funny", "Intelligent", "Down to earth" blahblahblah, the usual jazz, you just know she's narcissistic. But i gotta fair, alot of young guys are like this too now. this i think it truly what all this "Social Media" and this age of "Reality tv" has done to the younger generation. Made them very Self Entitled, Smug even, Shallow, Vain and just yes - Narcissistic. this sadly has spread across the board in Western Society now.

I focus on the house I'm renovating, working out, my other projects. There's a lot more time in the day. At this point, at 35, debt free, paid for house, money in the bank, other investments, and a life to live, if someone else wants to be a part of that it's their problem, not mine. NO MORE SHAME.

Dang it ! The door was only wide enough for 1 person at a time but dang, what a mistake I made. Funny thing is, I was exiting a building the other day (following a woman out [just in the same direction - What an evil man I am] ) and she held the door for me and I thanked her. I guess I was an evil man for thanking her / being behind her / accepting her holding the door / etc. Is that reverse misogyny ? Ps I have also been known to hold the door for men. Does that make me a homosexual misogynist (or similar word) ?

Speaking as a man who generates enough female interest to date, etc., it's still difficult to find anything resembling a good relationship. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I've been in the position of rejecting women that made offers of sex, and/or relationships. What's interesting, is that they often project a sense of entitlement, and have a poor reaction if rejected. I thought no one was entitled to anyone else? It doesn't matter how nice the rejection is, they usually act like I have no real choice in the matter. When did that become reasonable? I recently had a conversation with a male coworker. At one point, he said "you know what women never ask me?". I replied "what you want". He responded in the affirmative. I reassured him, they don't seem to care what men in general want from a relationship, at this point. From my perspective, it looks absolutely insane. Why would I entertain women that act as if they're picking items off an a la carte menu, and couldn't care less if people starve beside them? The answer? I don't entertain them. I'd rather focus on living a good life, and leave them to their own misery. The cultural climate might change for the better, but it's anyone's guess when that will be.

I left my family home when I was 18 and I have done every possible chore you can think of -- cooking, cleaning, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, fixing the car, scrubbing the bathrooms, fixing the house, upgrading the house, in addition to just basic hygiene, exercise, dieting, and grooming -- all without the help of any woman at any point. Not once -- NOT ONCE -- has a woman ever helped me with any of it, nor would I want them to. I want it done right. I don't want them involved, and I don't want them to be slaves for my labor on my behalf. I don't know any modern man who wants that, either. I don't know where modern women, even after decades upon decades, continue to get this idea that men want them for labor. We don't. We just want basic respect, and to be listened to, and to be understood. We don't want to be used, and we don't want to use. It's so weird to us that women continue to think this way. @bkeepr4246 Жыл бұрын
By seeking a 50/50 relationship you are automatically setting yourself up for the woman to loose desire for you. She has to always be looking up to you as the better person. To do that you have to always take the position that you are to be treated better, that she is lucky to have you, she must work for your approval. A woman has to look up to you else her biological instincts will kick in and drive her to seek that better man she can look up to. Remember the moment you accept her request for an exclusive relationship, you are devaluing yourself as a man because you are surrendering your right, your biological job, to spread your seed widely, by submitting to just a single, weak, woman. She sees it as you being so weak that she can control you, thus any other woman can also do so, let alone other men... you are not a good choice to bet her life and her future children on (biological driven instincts don't get overwriten by modern society). So you must be strong and better than her in most other aspects of life. Every weak step, such as doing feminine tasks around the home or deferring to her when decisions must be made, after that is putting your relationship with her on the downhill path to her going to another man.

I actually went through a month long investigation, just before I retired, because I stood up for myself to these nasty women. When the investigation was completed several supervisors and multiple controllers were disciplined, due to false reports containing outright lies. It was so refreshing to meet someone with an understanding of her feminine strengths and how they balance with a mans strengths.

A few decades ago, while dating, 2 separate women told me they divorced their husbands because "he would do anything I asked." In both cases, they had 3 children with their ex-husbands. In both cases, their husbands were contractors and made a lot of money. I concluded that these women decided to divorce them to maximize combined child support and alimony. If you look at the scales that most states have for child support, 3 children tend to maximize child support. Not quite as large an increment for the 4th. Clearly, a well-planned strategy. Keep up the good work!

I have to admit that I have a little bit of a character flaw. When I'm not in a relationship, I'm a bit self destructive. I engage in activities that if I make a mistake, I could be serious injured or killed. Motorcycle racing, hang gliding, jumping out of perfectly operating aircraft and keeping your fingers crossed the chute will open. I'm almost 70 now and no longer do many of those activities. I found the love of my life when I was 31 and we have been together ever since. She literally keeps me grounded. If I'm in a relationship, the responsibility that brings, causes me to settle down. When someone depends on you, you don't want to screw it up. Take care Pea and I see you Tuesday.

been with my thai lady for 13 years now. we have ups and downs like anyone. the female friends i made in thailand were always fun to hang out with, but a lot of the friendly attitude slowly disappeared as we spent more time doing things together, and not needing the show for the public. no different than anybody for worries, hopes, and dreams. the thing that made a few of them express anger that is usually bottled up, was their inability to travel. puk would get upset that us farangs can hop on a plane, and go there whenever we want, and thai people take care of us, but she can't get a visa to come visit our countries for a vacation. she asked me why every western country hates thai people.
@ferney2936 Жыл бұрын
The reason is that Thai women are statistically much more likely to not go back home when they said they would. However, I do feel that we westerners are much luckier than Thais in the many opportunities we enjoy that they don't.

You really got to the heart of the matter with those snippy "ladies", Sweet Pea. I would not like to satiate my loneliness with any of them. One of my arms-length women acquaintances in my self--imposed loneliness summed up the situation well when she discovered that I was leaving for the Philippines to spend a month with my Filipina. "It's no wonder that you didn't want me!"

Yesterday I went to a luncheon at my Senior Center, I met a lovely 85 year old Irish woman who came to the US when she was 18 as a nanny. She said she had four children and her husband traveled a lot on business. She said she made sure she did all the house chores including painting, mowing, carpentry, etc. because when her husband came home from his business trips, he could spend more time with the kids instead of doing house chores. Now that's a real women. Real women today would have a list of chores for the husband to do when he comes home.

That's funny. A lonely man issue? Tik Tok has 1000's of women asking "where's all the good men?" I don't see men on there asking the same thing about women. I do however, see men on there telling the viewers why they gave up on dating, and how they are happier being alone. They found peace.

You’re a very clever and lovely woman. It’s amazing what you are saying is absolutely true about a lot of western women. And yes there are a lot of countries that women want to take a traditional role in marriages. I’ve been married 3 times 2 divorcees and I can see the issue with men and women in Australia. If I didn’t meet my current wife I would definitely take a closer look at marring a woman from the Phillipines with positive goals and family orientation.❤
