Thanks for the review of the Compact version of the PSD! I was lucky enough to have bought one of the original full-sized PSD's before they were distributed by IFG and love shooting it. The biggest issue was getting ammo at a reasonable cost as I had never heard of Tascosa. Their prices are almost half that of IFG (and other on-line sales sites) so they will be getting my business. Thanks for the tip!

I can appreciate a firearm that with a simple barrel change can handle different ammunition. A perfect SHTF firearm. Spec ops have been issued the FN firearms utilizing the 5.7 ammo. If 357sig didnt catch on i would be surprised is this round does. Its very similar.
@justinkase13602 күн бұрын
I'm not sure that they mean for this to "catch on" as one would a mass produced cartridge, but who knows. The 357sig is a great round but not really a competitor to 7.5 FK. The closes round to being competitive might the 9x25 Dillon, if it were loaded to match. The 10mm is very close in terms of power, but it's not necked down do it can only match typical pistol ranges. TO me, the FK is more meant to be able to reach out longer than standard ranges and retain more energy while doing so. Wasn't the claim "10mm power at 100 yards" or something? I can't remember. Anyway, ammo price is like boutique loaded 10mm price. So, not a cheap round to shoot, but you can shoot other rounds in the gun.

Both thumbs foward, up high on the frame/slide, and it nearly takes away any recoil. If you have smaller hands or are uncomfortable holding it this way, get a gas peddle. This thing is pretty cool, but most glocks do the same thing with a simple barrel swap/extractor. Thanks for the vid

I've had this question for awhile. From what I have gathered, 7.5 FK and 10mm use basically the same brass. Why do the magazines hold 14 rounds of 7.5, but only 10 rounds of 10? Is there some sort of block/funnel at the bottom of the mag? What would be the point other than to promote use of the proprietary round via capacity?
@liquidsmokemustang15372 күн бұрын
I was very impressed when the BRNO came out with 2000 FPS muzzle. Isn’t the original internally suppressed as well? Is the C the same? FK was only exporting 1000 units a year though which sent the price way up (from what I understood). 2 barrels is a major plus.

Either if it was possible to reload for it or if it can take lots of real 10mm beating with a 9 conversion would be nice too. Not having the counterweight thingy is a step down.
