For me, in a nimble interceptor, mines are a must. Once you're in a turn-fight or have a tail, drop a mine and they NEVER see it coming until "KILL +100".

I always tend to use the standard cannons. Even in this video, I can see people shooting the rapid fire cannons out of range; and the DPS upgrade is shadowed over by the ability to engage sooner.

For me I go + 100 % acceleration engine with the 10% lower manoeuvrability. With the quick acceleration I can get up to speed quick, drift to turn quickly and there isn’t much cons with it, it’s barely noticeable manoeuvre compared to normal engine. If someone is close behind me I can just stop instantly and have them fly past. Also with normal lasers you can rush up to the shield generation of capital ships, and with max weapon power you can destroy one generator and then die instantly after but you take out half the shield. What I do with rapid fire is while I’m boosting I charge my weapons, the rapid fire charges fully EXTREMELY fast, 3 seconds with weapons power diverted and it back to normal then I go back to speed cause I value speed more.

The speed decrease makes you an easy target for other slower ships. If you keep speed you can hit a ship and leave before they fire back

Good video however I am curious if you have changed your setup in the 1.5 months since you posted this? I fly A Wing and currently I don't use a single one of the components you have selected.

As a tiie interceptor player I use rapid fire and the charging one. I keep power on speed 95 percent of the time. I have engine that has acceleration go up alot. I use radar jamming and quick locon starfighter missiles. No Health is not a problem when no one can hit you and if you need you can get a health pickup. Shields are for losers.

Are you planning on doing the other classes/ships? I don’t know if your play style lets you play with any of the bombers but I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Great job on the video. Thanks!
