It was great to meet you today, you bagged your 4 👊 you mentioned the place near Harrison called Glenn something. Can you refresh me of this name because I’d like to go check it out
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures23 күн бұрын
@BruceEllemo-q6s Glenn Valley Park. Check it out on the rising tide. It's a tide dependent fishery. If you look at the Mission water level meter on the Fraser you will see what I mean. Be aware Glenn Valley is Tidal Fraser and requires ocean fishing license. If you want to fish fresh water it's open above Mission train bridge for you regular license as well. Opened on November 3rd.

Wow that was some nice clear water! Not at all what it was like when I was down there a few days ago.
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures29 күн бұрын
Yeah, I think you came during high water. It's clear once it drops. Especially during winter when precipitation falls as snow.
@JustinHallowesOutdoors23 күн бұрын
i liked it, and the comments were interesting people telling you what to do. do you plan on icefishing in Alberta at all this coming winter?
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures23 күн бұрын
Yes, I will be out in Alberta ICE fishing if there is ice when I am there.

I'd say a larger part than if your roe is fresh or not is your position on the run of the river. You can use the best baits and or lures in the world. But if you're not able to get into the fish are holding it doesn't matter. So sometimes when the riverbank is crowded and the guys beside you keep hooking up despite you using the same gear as them it's because they're in the right spot on the river/their drifts/ casts are actually going through where the fish are
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures16 күн бұрын
Yeah, that should be pretty obvious. The fish are not ubiquitous in the river, you have to fish where the fish are to catch them. Pretty sure I explained that. Even more important, you can fish where the fish are but if you aren't presenting it right you still wont catch them. It's a combination of all things. The fish do move though, so depends if you are fishing for moving fish or sitting fish. Sitting fish you better be drifting right through them. Moving fish you just have to fish the path of least resistance most often in the run and they will come.

Beautiful River and fish, what is that powder you put on your roe to keep it clean like that, just borax or some other product?
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures27 күн бұрын
@timkuzan7068 it's just borax.

What pound line or leader are you using my friend..
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures29 күн бұрын
20 pound powerpro braid... I might have been using 10 pound fluorocarbon seagar cause of the clear water.
@fdl36229 күн бұрын
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures wow and I was using 20lb leader line, maybe I need to go lower to get more bites as often as you do. Keep up the good videos! Great content my friend 👍
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures27 күн бұрын
@fdl362 yeah you don't need 20 pound. Heaviest I ever go for Chinook and chum is 17 pound.
@areyyyyyyy29 күн бұрын
i noticed you don't really bleed your fish. I understand when the bite is on you dont wanna spend any time away from the water, but is this sth you always do?
@Carponchia-z8k29 күн бұрын
Most people will catch their limit first then bleed them before leaving.
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures29 күн бұрын
I do bleed my fish instantly, I bonk them, tear the gills on both sides with my hands. And then toss on stringer. It's pretty gruesome, so I edit that part out of the Video.
@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures29 күн бұрын
All the fish were blead as soon as they were caught.
@areyyyyyyy29 күн бұрын
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures so long as they weren't... Bred...😁 Tight lines doc
@areyyyyyyy29 күн бұрын
@@Carponchia-z8k that's not really gonna work unless you keep the fish semi-alive (which is a big no no) or catch your limit within 15 mins... It's already been cleared anyways, I was just curious.
