According to his insta he got food poisoning from bad chicken but didnt want to cancel the sweat session bc so many people were mad when he canceled the last one (due to literally having covid, ughhh ppl be nice) so anyway he powered through despite the illness 🤢

In real life, if the person being paid is sick, the appointment is either rescheduled or refunded because although it’s understandable to not go through with the scheduled appointment when you’re sick, you should also know that you can’t charge someone for an appointment that never took place. The people who paid for the subscription should’ve either been refunded for the session, had a rescheduled session, or been given some other form of compensation.

Last I checked, it's a 24 hour notice in advanced to not be charged a late cancellation fee or it's just not refunded period. And monthly payments, the company doesn't care if you make it or not. They're not going to refund you the days you didn't go.

The reason someone paying for a service would have to pay a fee for canceling within 24 hrs of an appt is because they are taking up a time slot that goes to only a limited number if not jut one person. As for the monthly scenario, you’re looking at it from the standpoint of a customer which is not the same as the provider of the service. But even if we did look at it the same, if you’re saying the customer has to stick with the contract of their monthly payments, then inversely whoever is providing the service has to stick with their role of the contract by providing the service. Besides, they’re providing the service whether the customer shows up or not.
