I think Jordan is just facing the harsh reality of being the guy who is on the top of the scouting report. Teams are planning around stopping Kuzma and Poole, instead of stopping Steph, Klay, and Draymond. There is a big difference in how you have to play when you are the guy defenses are focused on stopping. His role has also substantially changed, so i think it'll just take some time for him to acclimate.

Jordan makes me sad. As a Warrior fan, I was a big believer in him and his game. He reportedly worked harder than anyone on the team during the pandemic shutdown -- and that's on a team with ultra-hardworking Steph Curry. He turned himself into a rising star. And now, he's seemingly giving in to all of his worst impulses. I don't feel sorry for him. He's already got generational wealth and can do what he likes. There are worse fates. But I really thought he would be more, and I'm sorry it's not turning out that way.

He telling the truth. I'll use his nemesis Draymond Green for an example. Draymond was on the JJ Reddick podcast last year. He said one of the reasons the Warriors became so great is because they didn't have a lot of player movement on their roster. They consistently played with the same group of guys so they were able to build a strong chemistry together. That is important to success and that takes time.

I get why Poole didn't take any accountability on not paying attention during the timeout. He is used to being a role-player who typically requires minimal involvement in those situations and the leaders on his team probably always said something similar to him regarding timeouts because he was just a role-player not realizing that breakdown was meant specifically for him as a role-player, NOT for him as one one of the main guys or to be relayed so nonchalantly to the public. He just has horrible IQ tbh and probably needs to be verbally spoonfed what's okay to do & what he shouldn't do. Like this guy is probably nearly 40% 3pt shooter but his 3pt percentage has always been much lower because he sometimes like to take shots for fun that Steph Curry typically forces. Curry is a different beast he sometimes has to take very difficult shots because he's that lethal and teams don't want him any chances, sure he'd like to take an easier shot but it's not always avaliable for him. Poole on the other hand genuinely prefers to take the more difficult 3pt shot simply because it might look better if it goes in. Poole is literally shooting 28% from 3 this season on nearly 7 attempts.
