I really don't know how you can keep the leather on your wallet and phone cases clean. Me and a bunch of my friends bought a few and within two weeks they looked incredibly destroyed and worn off. And about wallets, isn't it such a useless product nowadays, at least here in Australia - your licence, Medicare, public transport pass, all credit and debit cards, rewards cards and a bunch of smart keys are pretty much either NFC enabled or can live inside of a phone app that doesn't take up extra space in your pocket.

Bellroy products look interesting but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to find a product by its material. I don't want dead animal skin and they seem to offer some recycled plastics but don't make them easy to find. Not your problem, I know but...poor site design.

The discovery of new antibiotics is bigger news than portrayed here, experts were becoming increasingly concerned about how resistant bacteria have become to the ones we already have. They were even looking into turning bacteriophages into medicine. Looks like AI has saved us here, until we severely misuse the new antibiotics and bacteria become immune to those too.

I am currently doing research using bacteriophages as well, all of these discoveries are very good, more options is always great in combating superbugs. The threat of AMR I would say stems not only from medical, it's a lot of agricultural antibiotic usages as well, hence why a lot of countries are banning antibiotic usages. Bacteriophages could be a great way to combat AMR in that scale. Another thing is adaptive mutations of the superbugs could flip flop between phages/antibiotics as well, added diversity with the knowledge we have now is definitely good, just have to hone in on the execution.

@@Crazy09starkillor As a layperson who has a weaker than normal immune system I’ve looked this growing dilemma a bit. Phage therapy isn’t new, it was widely used in the Soviet Union. I have read that there is some hesitation about using bacteriophages, there is concern that they could mutate and harm humans. These viruses are also super specialized and not as easy to use as an antibiotic that can kill multiple types of bacteria. What has me more worried now is the growing threat of fungal infections. The climate crisis is creating fungi that have adapted to warmer temperatures and that makes them more likely to jump to human hosts. Antifungals are more damaging to the body and harder to create because fungi have more in common with animal cells than bacteria. I hope AI can also create better antifungals.

A lot of the information out there isn't true. I'm in the discord daily and we get updates from the team. They've released a number of different software updates for their device and it's pretty powerful. They had a rough start for sure, but they are showing a lot of progress.

Google and Samsung haven’t supported their phones for 5+ years yet, they’ve only announced that they will support their phones for 7, 8 years. Apple actually has supported their phones for long periods of time, the other two companies are in their first year of their support. I‘ll only take their word for it when the 7, 8 years is actually up; Especially with Google’s track record.

The raspberry pi already had an AI add-on. The pi is compatible with the Google Coral TPU, which connects by USB. Not sure how it compares with the Hailo m.2 only TPU, in terms of pricing

One thing you forgot to mention about the Lunar Lake CPU part is the big surprise that the efficiency cores will be as performant as the performance cores we have in the latest Core CPUs! This is wild! I imagine Raspberry Pi like SBCs with these cores and superb performance! Or even nice and efficient gaming handhelds, if the GPU is really useful.

​@@anero.They kinda have a track record of not exactly following through their claims, - We know google and its graveyards, but I still think they'll give pretty good support, perhaps 5-6 yrs. - Samsung also said a similar thing with repairability, and entered a deal with ifixit before taking a u-turn on both sides. I still think they could probably reach 5 years give or take on their S-series, I'm sceptical if they'll support more, especially for their lower range A series, and M(?) Series phones. If they are really determined, they'll probably also limit the features adding just gimmicks to newer phones/ Giving support to older phones but stripped down features. - There used to be some ipads which couldn't handle the features of the new OS's that prompted apple to add a new update to disable some features. (iOS 9 IIRC). And, let's not forget apple failing to address users about the chemical limitations of the battery, and how the devices are essentially doomed to throttle and slow down because the battery is going to be too weak to handle tasks.

@kylorokx1552 have you tried to design a CPU or GPU before you call them lazy ? 😂😂😂 it's hard work bro , I've designed a full adder (part of the computer that performs addition ➕️ & learning to design the parts that do subtraction➖️, multiplication✖️ & division ➗️ is a little harder) & designed tiny amounts of RAM 🐏 but designing a full CPU & GPU is something I don't understand yet but intel engineers have been doing it for years so I wouldn't call them lazy. They've made a lot mistakes but they have access to the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing machines from ASML so that should give them a chance to better compete with TSMC (TSMC have chosen not to buy yet) the future. I know I sound like an intel simp but I'm just jealous of their employees (I wish I was smart enough to have their jobs )+ I plan on buying shares in the company plus in TSMC too lol 😂😂😂😂

Don't you remember, they had a 14nm chip manufacturing process before while others are already manufacturers 7nm and until now they can't manufacture on their own. How about meltdown and spectre virus? They don't inform the public regarding these issues. Also, Apple ditched them because Intel can't make their chip faster and more efficient. The price was too high.. That's why Apple designed their own. Making them the greatest loser in Tech industry that year. You see the problem with intel is not about their designs. They have great engineers. They can solve it. The problem lies with their corporate management playing corporate politics hindering their technology advances! Imagine, Intel from 300 billion dollars last Jan 2020 down to 130 billion today after the Apple split. That's how ruined they are. That's why they are the laziest tech company.

​@@kylorokx1552I'm not aware of the specture virus but since it's complicated CPU stuff they probably thought they could get away with not telling normal people about it which is dumb but similar things have happened before with hardware vulnerabilities that normal consumers don't know about. Yes it was a problem for them when apple switched to ARM because of the power issues with x86 & I do agree that the management is to blame. Intel actually helped fund ASML's development of semiconductor manufacturing machines then choose not to buy their latest stuff it the past thinking their own internal r&d was better & that's one thing that helped TSMC overtake them recently. Intel has also made other dumb mistakes that caused them to miss out on supplying ARM chips to apple for the iPhone when it was in development in 2006 ,because they had the x86 Mac deal at the time tgey assumed they'd have a deal for their own xscale ARM chips in iPhone & after that failed they sold off their ARM CPU rights instead of trying to get android manufacturers to use them, leaving billions on the table over the last 17-18 years like clowns 🤡

The inherent problem with the value of AI, it is a computer program, the algorithms and the data can be readily copied, what value in an AI when you could have millions of copies. It makes no sense what so ever and more and more countries and tech corporations are working on AI, so hundreds of versions with millions of copies. Where it the trillion dollar value in that, the pricing is INSANE.
