@@digvijayjadhav5912 I'd rather miss a lot of smaller business opportunities and take the few bigger ones and be successful with them. And also, you can literally implement anything in real life depending the circumstances so I don't see your point. This process is awesome! I’m in the fitness coaching industry, working my way through creating value based pricing on the changes that I create through the health of the clients that I work with. The biggest challenge that I see is that most people have a hard time putting a dollar amount on looking and feeling better. So I rely on educating clients as much as I can and trying to bridge the gap between somethingSomething the client has never felt before and a dollar amount. Any suggestions?

I currently consult a growing certified personal trainer and it comes down to “digging deep” into their pain points and establishing a genuine emotional connect with their desired results and how it would positively impact various aspects of their life. Granted, This is a generalized answer but I recently used it to close my own $5K+ student for one of my companies and did similar for another artist last Friday for my other company.

Always love how you present this particular topic, Chris. I currently run my consultancy with a hybrid of input+output (depending on client and size of project) however, transitioning to value based pricing seems to be a challenge in my local market (Namibia, Africa). The vast majority of clients I have worked with struggle to quantify value or are just not willing to pay for value add. I'm not sure if it is as a result of predominant business practices that are dated or if it is a result of our local markets not being 'mature' in the sense of seeing and calculating ROI when it comes to 'intangible' services like design, content creation and managing social. Any advice on how to 'educate' clients or market segments on value based pricing? AKA how to help them transition away from input or output pricing towards seeing the value of outcomes pricing?

Stoked I found this channel. After two decades as a professional photographer, with great events and high profile clients in my portfolio, I still struggle with self worth. For years my peers have told me I'm too cheap, or I work too hard, and now, at 51 with a young family, I've decided that's it. I'm better than I think, and if I charge accordingly I'll feel more confident, my work will keep improving, and my business will succeed. This is me believing in myself, and starting to act and charge accordingly. Stoked!
