It’s boring bro I’ve been playing raging blast 2 on my ps3 before sparking came out because I thought this was the one . But I’m literally finding my self firing up my p3 just to play it and compare everday. I’m disappointed they better give us an update for the combat system because I don’t care for no super moves / hand to hand combat animations that there pushing for in this game. I’d rather be able to pull of the moves 100 percent

Many missing moves in sparking zero like- meteor combination, kaioken finish; vegetation namek sagas genocide breaker, ultimate burst cannon; friezas I won't let u escape with ur life, cells zetsumi bullet/see ya, super big bang crash; majin buy vaporize/innocence cannon; coolers chaotic dead end, Nappa's impact bomb, arm break; android 18 high pressure energy wave, future trunks another end , etc.

Raging Blast 2 really did transformations a lot better for some characters like Broly and Frieza. Sparking Zero just white flashes the shit and calls it a day.

There are definitely some attacks that look so much better than in Sparking Zero. Ult. Gohan and SS Trunks’s ultimates have so much more intention. Especially that first person pov in Shining Sword attack + the sequence afterwards is RAW.

People deny that Raging Blast is a part of the Tenkaichi series, but those games were literally advertised as next gen Tenkaichi back in 2009/2010 Raging Blast 1's cover art refers to itself as Tenkaichi I kind of see Raging Blast as Shin Budokai was to the Budokai series. They weren't directly sequels but they are a part of the series

@@SegaMario Thank you. It’s literally created by the same developers but they modified it for the ps3 and just named it different. Raging Blast 2 sequel game that came after that was literally called “Ultimate Tenkaichi”.

@@SegaMario it’s part of the tenkaichi series but it’s isn’t continuation of after budokai tenkaichi 3, they are spin off games that are apart of the series but aren’t the main games and on top of that they don’t have a sparking name. For example if you are familiar with kingdom hearts 1-3 are the main games birth by sleep and dream drop distances are spin offs. So sparking zero is BT4 and wouldn’t be BT6 (technically 7 because you didn’t count BT tag team)

Dragon Ball raging blast 2 was the shit back then just the models the up close fighting style everything the craters you can make sometimes and picking up your enemy and throwing them when they fall on the ground even throwing them to a mountain and watching them get stuck in the mountain I just love all those features But sparking zero is peak sparking zero beats raging blast 2 in everything 😉

raging blast 2 & bt3 are more quirky, meaning there’s more smaller details in those games than sparking zero & the ultimates are quick flashy & to the point, not as long & drawn out as some of sparking zeros

I feel like the RB2 close combat was easier to read and react to, and even the inputs felt more responsive. In S0 it feels like some punches aren't always registered at times. Oh and I hate S0's QTE much more, still dont get it.

Sparking Zero's ultimate attacks are severely lacking. You don't feel the impact and too many of them don't even properly hit the opponent. It is especially noticeable and frustrating with the Genki Dama. Not having the opponent getting swallowed by it or trying to hold it back is so disappointing and awkward looking.

Hi, Are you a fan of these Dragon ball games? What was your first DBZ game? I remember I didn't like the look of this Raging Blast 2 until I started playing it again recently (I found a copy for sale for 79 reais, reais is the money in my country) And it's a pretty valid visual effect for me, it added a great color palette that embraced the 3D aspect, but I especially like how the lighting effects seem to have great dynamism and blend well with the 3D object (Characters) You can see the characters reacting to green, purple and red light too, not just making a skin lighter requires work, I'm not an audiovisual editor, but I think it changes a lot Visual. I praised Raging Blast 2 a lot, but I prefer the style of Sparking Zero, much more actual, but one game does not cancel out the other, it's good that we have several aspects. But I believe that Raging Blast 2 is better in this than Raging blast 1

SZ is amazing and a triumphant return of BT but we can also admit where it might come up shirt. One thing I dislike is the clashes . Not in presentation but functionality. You get zero feedback on whether you win the clash until it’s over whereas in the previous games you got to watch the struggle actually unfold. Felt more like a clash. Now it feels like RNG.

Exactly, and SZ spent a lot of time trying to faithfully recreate as much as they could which was nice to a point. Transformations for Goku, Teen Gohan, and Cell were great while Frieza and Broly felt like down grades. Hell, Jiren's feels line of lazy.

Only the reals one know that RB2 had the best combat out of all the dbz games. None of them compared to the combat and competitive experience. Everything else about the game was mid but those who know can't deny what im saying. Sparking zero is S tier because it has everything you could dream of but the combat still fails compared to RB2. Both games lack in the unlockablitiy aspect when it comes to characters. Sparking Zero has terrible story telling, I am reading and watching what essentially a visual novel with occasional cutscenes and animation and no narration for half the text you read. Very limited character selection in story mode. BT3 did that better. Raging blast 2 suffers from no story and galaxy mode isn't that great.

I definitely don't think it's better than Sparking Zero, but there are some elements that Raging Blast handled better imo. A lot of the ultimates were better in RB2. Just look at the difference between Ultimate Gohans ultimate attack in this video. Night and day difference
