Of course there is. Every few hundred miles is dotted with history for those who can understand it and assimilate it. Most Westerners come with prejudices that they have gained from their school education, media etc. India is the mother of all religions, a spiritual free market for those who want to know the Truth. Some from West did succeed. People like Paul Brunton (read "A search in Secret India") or Ram Dass (previously Richard Alperts).

Great road and drone footage as usual Vanessa. Those Donkeys were so cute I'd not be surprised if you adopted one or ten. As for the cows the group did right to avoid a collision as much as possible as you don't want to get into a beef with the locals or damage the riders or bikes. Many thanks for sharing.

@@TheGirlOnABike hey, if you're looking for great off-roads in India, I can tell you the world's deadliest road and it still lies within India. The route from Jispa to Srinagar via KILLAR AND KISHTWAR and then to the top of SIMTHAN TOP. It's incredible to see cliff hangers with over 1000ft down the valley. And no fuel stop, no hotels for kilometers but few home stays You will find few hotels in Killar village. You guys should visit once again and do this route.

There is no India without cow. Cow is integral and holy to us. Love it or hate it... deal with it in India and learn to respect cows... disrespect to cows is disrespect to our existence.

@@lizu47 Also violence happens because of cows. You do not need all foreigners to become enemies of these people. Wherever you go, just respect the local customs,traditions and laws. In saudi arabia, you cannot eat pork by law. similarly cows are protected by constitution of India. Read article 48 of the indian constitution.

The land wont be fertile without cows dung as organic manure.. cow dung is used as fuel for cooking by poorer section of society. cow urine is an excellent source of nitrogen for agriculture. cow milk is used in everyday life, even to feed motherless infants. cow milk is an agricultural activity supporting millions of rural Indian citizens.. you can survive wars and not die of hunger if you have cows. cows are holy gift to mankind by gods. cow is holy to us. They should not be ever killed. its a sin of unimaginable proportion. cows roaming in roads are retired cows. ideally they should have a retirement home but we as a country are not rich enough to give them that currently. As we grow we will eventually have more cow homes(gaushalas) just like old age homes.

Hey Vanessa, I have always wondered if other people besides myself get triggered if they look into the bright sun? I have not gotten to the cow part yet. I have now hit two deer with my Yamaha FZ-07. I will be replacing the front fender , fork Tubes , radiator and headlight today. White Tail Deer are not so big .. I hit smaller ones maybe 140 pounds. Deer are very soft compared to hitting a car that pulls out in front of you .
