Love the point on finding exercises that work for YOU! The reason I hated working out for a long time was because I thought it had to be "cardio heavy: treadmill, elicipcal, or running , etc." but when I took my first yoga barre class, I actually really liked it! And I realized I didn't hate working out, I just hated THAT type of workout.

I think a major takeaway from this is that every person needs to take time to get to know themself. We are all so complex and multifaceted so even if we kinda think we know ourself we honestly probably don’t. Get to know yourself in all aspects, and be kind to all of those aspects.

3:03 I think genes are so unique and being mixed is a unique experience for each mixed person, and the physical features based on which parent is which ethnicity is so interesting. I’m Tri-racial, dad is mixed and mom is black. I have my moms facial structure and my dads complexion and the loose curls 😂 you have somewhat the opposite and more Black features. 😌it’s so beautiful for us all.
