Yea, Spider-Man might act like his powers are science based but they are supernatural. Real spiders don't have precognition, they can't tell if someone might harm them based on looking at them, they detect movements with hairs on their bodies to dodge danger. The hair on his feet and hands which allow him to climb walls like spiders and stuff wouldn't work through his suit but in one comic it was said that he can control molecular attraction or something between his body and stuff so that's what allows him. Another reason for his powers big supernatural is his connection with the web of life and destiny and the spider-totem and Spider-Verse stuff

This. Tom Scott has VERY recently uploaded a video where he tried to fly one. He wasn't very successful, but he only had one practice session, and it didn't look all too bad actually. With a little injection of "Aliens did it" and some computing power for the thrust vectoring, I am 100% sure that we could build suits like that already. Biggest problem is actually the power source. The 'Gravity' suit has enough fuel for about 15 minutes of flight. That's where the Alien tech is most likely to come in.

The drone probably has two lenses to help with depth perception, either it uses a second depth camera or it uses a second visual camera and uses the two perspectives to calculate geometric points, which it can use to make 3-D model of the environment that is looking at, which probably allows the system to better understand everything around it, avoid obstacles, identify faces, that kind of thing

As far as your question of how spidermans webs wouldnt stick to himself. Do you think perhaps the web fluids chemical reaction could be aerobic and that in order for the web fluid to retain is sticky and stretchiness, it would require oxygen for a certain period of time. If so it would be really easy to create a vacuum that stores the web fluid inside his suit and that the driving force of the web fluid actually propelling forwards into a web pattern could simply be from the pressure in the container.

I enjoyed this video. There are a few things I would like to point out that you questions. 1: The Vulture is using an alien power source/crystal to power the suit. (This also counters the heating issue that we would normal face.) 2: Though I cannot tell what the chemical mix Peter used to make his webs, but it was designed to not stick to the suit. And his spidey abilities prevents it from sticking to him. 3: The AI/UI in the suit is connected to the Stark network. That is how he is able to pull up records and information on people. Also being connected to that network the AI uses it to tap in on calls. That is how he can isolate the one person from the 100s of people on the ferry. 4: Yes. He does have to charge the suit from time to time. Though it was a gift from Tony it does not come with the Stark Arch reactor. I hope you found this useful.

Yeah if you're connected to the Stark network, which is insanely advanced, you can use the GPS from the satellites combined with the camera in the lenses to render a 3D space in the suit's computer, then, combine that with the phone's system to get a physical location of where the phone is, send it into the 3D augmented reality in the suit's HUD, so peter can just easily be like "Suit lady, tap me in to that phone call." Then he can hear everything in the phone call, combined with what the mic is picking up. Then he could even find the location of the caller, connect to their network, steal all their data, order pizzas using their bank info, send it to police records as info about illegal activity acquired by one of Tony's guys, and they can investigate it, etc, etc. If tony can hijack a board meeting system and play deep web videos using just his phone, his suit can easily do all of this in a one minute conversation with suit lady. All this stuff can be done today, assuming you have the processing power, and influence. Both of which Tony Possesses in spades, and is all shoved into a suit worn by a teenager. Once we get the tech, it can all be done. I learned about all this in a video about a hacker reacting to Watch_Dogs, and I already know about computer systems, AR, and rendering. Knowing all of this stuff makes these sci fi movies all the more interesting. And watching these videos is just teaching me even more. Its awesome.

As for the two lenses, I'm thinking it's for detecting distances. If you had two cameras facing the same object, then measuring the angle between the cameras, then doing some trigonometry will tell you the distance

Ya, the part about the Vulture having a mask is a really good point. I mean a lot of people HATE the Green Goblin mask in the original Spider-Man movies, but it is arguable that it at least has practical function by not only providing head protection, but by possibly providing oxygen depending on the altitude he flies. So everybody, why do you hate the mask so much?

for Spider man's suit's power look up Mjolnir's fusion pack from Halo - its in line with other Stark tech. and for his spider silk - the answer is literally spider silk has all of those properties, especially if various forms and polymers he specifically prepares and stores are modified by the suit, ai, and gesture tech it could emphasize any of its advantages across the breadth. 3d printing something it takes a Spider hours to make from the same or similar material is the bonkers part to me. Like he doesn't shoot individual strands very often, its mostly entire webs with a design purpose, but they did establish this is one of the canon-timelines where it doesn't come from him he designed and harvests parts from spiders himself. Marvel and sci-fi/fantasy does this thing where one person is independently 20 years ahead in their various specialties and that they aren't dependent on other researchers or the scientific community as a whole for really any of their stuff. It diminishes how amazingly collaborationist science has become and how essential that was to so so many things, and creates the false narrative that many or even most inventors of tech made every leap it took to get there by themselves rather than just the last one. Everything Edison is credited for example, beyond stealing his employees work almost literally everything had been worked on around the world for decades before he monetized it. I only bring it up to mention how insane it is that none of this tech has effected the world at large in much more drastic ways, and how much that proves Tony was a paranoid cryptofascist. Beyond his entirely illegal personal murder satellite and hacking suite he left to a 16 year old, and his destruction of billions of dollars of technology made from extremely rare-earth elements because putting any of it in the hands of the public was so inconceivable that is played as a romantic gesture... beyond all of that if any of their tech, including spiderman's programmable and ranchable webshooters, was understood to the extent necessary to execute the feats seen with them - integrate them seemlessly into already complex, bleeding edge, proprietary tech - and have all of that R&D done by a singular person or I suppose offscreen Jarvis being the most important thing in the history of civilization and doing a couple centuries of Phd's research-hours and peer review as a couple weeks of simulations. I think it is reductive of the profession or of the technology, and it shows the extent to which Stark is 100% a supervillain for not sharing the noncombat applications of it despite wanting to put the Avengers under the responsibility of a governmental body. Webshooter tech like that would fundamentally change every facet of our lives if even the equivalent of 10 year old scraps were provided to biomechanical engineers or materials scientists. Literally every single industry would be reshaped by it, surgical tech especially. I obviously love sci-fi and Marvel but I would love if some show followed the implications of singular pushes along a tech tree - like what the space program did for microchips, or even the comedy show Silicon Valley does for their revolutionary smart-compression algorithm changing the outlook for all Bluechip industries.

For Peter’s webbing, it’s pretty much all fictional B.S. (kinda sad honestly, because they would be very useful). He created a unique chemical formula to make them. As for unsticking to them, in the comics Spider-Man has some sort manipulation of the electrons in the things he holds onto (can’t remember the specifics, it’s probably pretty fiction based) That’s why he can stick and release from walls easily, So I’m guessing he repels the webbing with that ability.

I think the alien gem stones are what power his jet packs and the turbines and wings only allow him to control his direction when flying. Just my guess, it's the only way to explain it.

about the spiderman webs , it is ""simple"" , still totaly fantasy , but the answer are real spiders .... they have different kind of webs that they use for different fuctions, he chose what kind of web to use for what kind of job , and they do only that . ( edit : the most common spider have 2 kind of webs , one that are stiky and one that is sturdy , they use the sturdy one to move around theyr web, contrary to casual observations, spiders can get stuck in theyr or other spiders webs ) a wild guess would be a material that rapidaly decay and change it's composition and state with eletrical stimulus .

Could an arc reactor like the Ironman suit power the Spider suit as well? Even if Iron Man uses the Arc Reactor to show his identity, he may have attached it to another part of the Spider Suit. 😊😊

Tbh on my opinion, earth technology as long as we have a good power source that has very high power to size ratio we could probably pretty much make all these sci-fi suits

@@parychahal Sadly the only real reason I could see these kinda suits being built would be some form of warfare :/ Even then, as people, we would almost always look for simpler solutions before something as complex as these.

Don't forget the shooters in the amazing spiderman. Anyway, I'd be confirmed on how the circuits in the suit are very flexable without the copper being broken.

That kind of technology is being used today, people have made clothing and hammocks, not all webs some has human made materials. Thats why spider farms exist to farm spider webs.

Love your videos. Very interesting. I do have to disagree with Vulture needing a mask in flight though, along with Falcon in Winter Soldier. At that low of an altitude a mask is not necessary. At most they were up to 3000 feet. Using your logic, I would be dead a long time ago living over 6,100 feet and regularly going to over 9,000 feet (sometimes even 14,100 feet), all without an oxygen mask and not noticing any difference (same to more difference from the starting point accounting for acclimation living at 6100 feet). You don't really need one until you get to around 15,000 or higher if you aren't travelling at high speeds. In Winter Soldier they were just hovering and I seriously doubt they ever got to 3,000, that was just their destination. Vulture wouldn't have any reason to much higher than the tallest building which you can go to the top of easily without a mask. Maybe he has asthma?
