Smith Everyday Lens Comparison

This is by far the most helpful video I've found on Chromapop lenses. Thank you! Most show how the lens appears to others, but skip the most important part of what the slopes look like while wearing them. There's not many retail shops near me where I can simply walk in and try these on, so I rely on reviews and online purchases.

This is the best goggle lens color video I can find in 2024, but it was made 5 years ago. You are brilliant! None us want to see what the goggle looks like as much as the lens color at the mountain. We can figure out the style we love and what fits at the store. Thank you for this video and thinking outside the box with your reviews! Time for an updated video with all the new lens colors. - The new Oakley pink on a white out day would be awesome! I tend to stick with bronze, orange and yellow tones, but people keep talking about how great pink works... I'm doubting it without seeing them actually preform in these conditions. I also have very light sensitive eyes so bright cloudy days and some whiteout conditions days can be a challenge for me.... Blind riding! 🤪🤪

Many thanks! I've been wanting to do this for every Goggle brand (Low and Normal Light) and update this one, but I can't ever get the lenses I need from the Brands. So it all comes down to your eye and what works best for you. Try pink, purple, or blue tints, but don't buy them until you know for sure.

The best real comparison ever! So simple but really shows us thanks James. Love Smith I always reach for my 4d mag over flight deck, jetpack or x2, NFX however I will try Salomon Lo fi sigma this season all have various lenses from VLT 10 to 62 I love experimenting. Thanks again

Good video and works for me even now when I trying to purchase Smith goggle, and it apears Everyday Red is more close to the natural color because when you see the color of the lens, it means it reflect that color out, so you may see the surrounding becomes purple (leaving red and blue light in) in a Everyday Green and dimmed (blue and green light in) in Everyday Red.

I purchased Smith goggles with a Storm Rose Flash lens. The lens was blurry right out of the box to the point of being unusable. So now I need to do a return. What a hassle!

What a cool vid. Thanks for this. Smith should hire you. You don't find the green everyday too pink? It's supposed to be a bit darker than the red everyday but seems very bright pink. (I ask as I have one on the way!) Again, thanks for a great video.

Many thanks! No I'm cool with it and actually really like it. Yeah I like Everyday Red a little better when it isn't full on blue bird but both do very well.

So are you saying the photochromic is not worth the extra money? Just stick to the everyday ones?

I found that to be the case for me but it comes down to personal preference
