If those hinges are anything like the older VC model, I had the same problem. The hinge pin was a rolled piece of steel that rusted in place. I found the best way to get it out without ruining the door was to drill it just under the size of the hole and use a drift to hammer it out.

Hey Gunman,I have a couple of deep scratches down to the bare metal on top of a right front fender but the rest of the fender is perfect. Can I sand the top of the fender down to base do my repair and then prime and sand just the top, then just scuff the clear on the side of the fender with scotch bright or 500 grit and then rebase the entire fender or should I sand & prime the entire fender before base and then reclear everything? You the man,the Gunman that is keep up the good work mate.

Thanks for a great channel. How much base and clear do you use do you use for a job like that. I am going to do a color color change on my Citroen Xsara Picasso, engine bay excluded from light brown (EYC) to a dark brown (KDK). How much base and clear should I buy for that (thinned/unthinned? Thanks

Great job as always Gunman, I like this format but would like to see maybe some text on the screen at the appropriate time to say what grit paper you are using for each part, the blocking and the orbital etc, I miss the amount of technical info that we normally get, Andy
