Your story of what happened if Tadashi have lived makes sense but letting Tadashi be consumed by his own emotions of getting revenge sounds so out of a character. I believe if Tadashi did live and try to find out the vilant, it would have stem from his worry that the enemy might hurt his brother and others.

I thought that this video was very interesting and well thought through. I also think that if Tadashi did survive the fire from the earlier part of the Big Hero 6 film. Then that would have introduced us to two possible characters that have appeared in the comics of Big Hero 6 and those characters are Sunfire and The Sliver Samurai. Out of these two characters, if Tadashi would have survived the fire. I think that he would become a different version of the Sunfire character and believe that since he survived, he can now be a master of that element and use his knowledge and some technology to develop a suit that allows him to control the element.

Even if we saw a vivid scene of Tadeshi having lava poured on his, hulk ripping his arms and legs off, shoving it all in a blender with a 30 second film shot to let the audience digest what just happened, Disney would still come up with some excuse of how he didn’t actually die.

I guarantee that they are going to make it out that the fire activated his x gene to turn him into Sunfire, or some other explanation due to chemicals if they don't want Big Hero connected to the X-men and the rest of Marvel. But, either way, if Disney does another Big Hero movie, they will bring him in as Sunfire and make Big Hero 7.

I've seen the series (tho haven't finished it yet) Tadashi still isn't alive. He's only seen thru out the series thru video archives and recordings. BUT, there was one episode where Tadashi was used as bait by the main antagonist of the series, luring Hiro to join the dark forces.
