Just a question....You always hear in the news, eat your fruit and veggies. My grandmother always tells me not to eat too many fruits because of the sugar level which she has a hard time controlling because she is a diabetic. How would u or "anyone" think is the best way to control this situation and still live like a good vegan diet because they tend to lean more towards the fruit side too for nutrition.
@dedoubecool8 жыл бұрын
Hey, you can go over to Healthy Crazy Cool's channel, he made a video about this, and you don't need to limit your fruit intake when you have diabetes despite what most doctors tell us 😑

I'm just wondering about your salt intake since you seem to splash every dish with a lot of tamari or soy sauce.. excessive salt intake is the leading cause of stomach cancer. And you'd probably be better off not eating that many refined oil products either (like nut butters and oils)
@curlywonders8 жыл бұрын
I don't think its that big of a problem since he eats a lot of fruit and such (High water content) and pretty much none of the food he eats has salt added into it, except for what he adds, so non-vegans are probably worst off.
@MawksProductions8 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but that is quite simplistic. Sure, it is good to drink lots of water after a high-sodium meal, but you cannot "cure" the damage caused by chronically high sodium intake merely by drinking a lot of water. Fact of the matter is that it's simply not healthy.
@curlywonders8 жыл бұрын
Yes, but my other point was that most of the food he eats has no salt previously added whatsoever. Most processed foods or cooked meats have sodium added, so constantly adding salt is definitely cause for concern. However if the meal consists of no sodium at all, then adding some in the form of Tamari or liquid Aminos hardly seems problematic.
@MawksProductions8 жыл бұрын
Good point, but I am also pointing this out to other people who want to cook these dishes and who do eat factory bread and other salty stuff daily. For anyone who does not normally abstain from sodium in their regular diet I would say lay off Tamari, or at least in the quantity they use it
@marywilliams21298 жыл бұрын
+Jakob Markus look at these guys though They seem healthier than anyone else., work long hours , get up at dawn and have boundless energy They don't seem to add refined salt to their cooked dishes.
