Hi Ed :) I'm a newbie to Harmonic World and your channel I really Dig it :) I play American & Irish fiddle tunes on the 10 String Cittern. You give me a idea using the harmonica like a Irish drum bodhran rhythmal 6/8 jig patterns Cheers Ed

Hi there, that’s great to hear you’re enjoying the channel! 6/8 sounds like a lot of fun, I’d love to hear that. If you do Facebook , I set up a group called The Harmonica Hobos to encourage folks to post buds if themselves playing- something you may be interested in. Cheers. Ed

This is very interesting, thanks a lot Ed. I have been trying to incorporate some 5 note riffs over a 4/4 beat, which sounds great on guitar but is tricky for me on the harp because of the breath patterns :) This is a very similar way to change the way we think about rhythm. Cheers!

my pleasure! 5 note rhythms are a great idea, I may have to try that :)

I don’t see a rhythm course on your website, is this something you offer, if so, can you give me link please.

Hello there, good question! This is actually the next one I’m planning :) ( although I do cover a lot of rhythm stuff in the In Depth Lessons)

I've got it memorized. But I've hit a speed limit. If I work diligently 10 minutes a day when can I hope to get with in 75% of u? Months or yrs?
@TheHarmonicaBarge Жыл бұрын
ha good question, I think months is doable. Once you can relax, speed will follow :)
