Andrew Cole, got an eye for a goal, scored some belters, lovely fella. Genuinely loved his play, even as a Liverpool fan. He was just pure class
@christianargentiTalkTV18 күн бұрын
Yep, great goal scorer. He also ended the career of one of the national team players here in Australia called Simon Colosimo when Man Utd toured here in 1999 with a tackle that ironically Graeme Sounness on his last legs at Rangers would have been proud off.

I respect Coley so much, cos he might sound stubborn here but as a United fan, look how he was never a problem to anyone. Him and Teddy didn't get along for reasons I also respect but they kept it moving he kept scoring so. Just shows SAF knew his guy and he respected the manager and you can see the results that came out of it. He clearly never strayed from his principles, but also seemed to be fair in how he saw everything so mad respect always to Coley.

As a United fan I’m eternally grateful for what Cole brought to the club. As a football fan I preferred the way he played at Newcastle. We wanted him to be a more rounded player and he’s was superb. Newcastle just wanted him to play to his strengths and that was scintillating to watch.

@@paulmullan3244 Yep, certainly did see that intv. Souness did fall out with too many players when he was Blackburn manager, including David Dunn as well. Cole did very well for Blackburn, and probably would have been happy to stay for longer had it not been for the fall out with Souness. Souness did do a very good job at Blackburn with the 2001 promotion, 2002 League Cup win and 10th place finish and 2003 6th place finish, but then increasingly lost the plot, and left a weak squad for Hughes when he left for Newcastle. The Blackburn board were happy to receive compensation for a manager that they were close to sacking.
