All of them are doping. Nobody is winning multiple gold medals and world championships cleanl while competing against world class athletes who are doping. It is not possible. The only way 4 time gold medalists are able to honestly say they competed cleanly is if they took the supplements provided by their coaches without being informed of what they contained. They should all keep their medals because they are all doping.

This made me smile, and for the wrong reasons! The opening question and answer says it all. Question: "and you voluntarily handed back a gold medal?" Answer: "Hmm." Now, there's a reason why there wasn't a clear "Yes" response there from Michael. And the reason is, that relay gold medal was stripped away, not returned voluntarily. The US team lost that relay gold medal, and on two counts - first Kevin Young tested positive, and then Antonio Pettigrew tested positive. Yup, there's nothing voluntary about returning that gold medal. There never is. The IOC takes them back. Period. When a member of a relay team tests positive, your result is scrapped, and if you won a medal it is taken away. Usain Bolt lost his 2008 relay gold when Nesta Carter's frozen samples tested positive in 2017. His reaction? "It's heartbreaking (the positive test) because over the years you've worked hard to accumulate gold medals and work hard to be a champion... but it's just one of those things," "Things happen in life, so when it's confirmed or whatever, if I need to give back my gold medal I'd have to give it back..." Here's what Wikipedia says about the 2000 relay gold medal: On June 29, 2004 the IAAF announced that Young committed a doping offense on 26 June 1999.[5][6][7] The effect of the decision was to negate all his results from 26 June 1999 to 25 June 2001, and to ban him permanently from the date of the decision. Accordingly, he and his teammates were stripped of their 2000 Olympic medal in the 4x400 m relay.[8] The Court of Arbitration for Sport reinstated the 2000 Olympic gold for Jerome's relay teammates in 2005. Jerome had not run in the final; he had only run in one of the qualifying heats. Young and the U.S. team had previously been stripped of the 2003 world championship relay gold due to a doping admission by teammate Calvin Harrison. On August 2, 2008, the International Olympic Committee stripped the gold medal from the U.S. men's 4x400-meter relay team again, due to a doping admission by teammate Antonio Pettigrew.[9] [5]IAAF Statement on CAS decision regarding Jerome Young. IAAF. 2004-06-29 Archived 2004-08-15 at the Wayback Machine [6]Goldstein, Richard (12 August 2010). "Antonio Pettigrew, Sprinter Who Doped, Dies at 42". The New York Times. [7]"Page doesn't exist".
