On the topic of succession, if Orys was Aegon's bastard brother then he would have been seen the obvious heir at the time early on. Obviously he would have married either sister and any child would carry the Targaryen name. After Orys married Argella(?) then no clue about how they would have handled it, but given by then Aegon controlled the Riverlands, Crownlands, and Stormlands so the dynamic had changed politically.

1:03:53 My headcanon is they were a throuple. This is a "Why not both?" moment for the three of them. And the reason why there were rumors of Aegon being in Rhaenys' bed more was because she had the best bed of the three of them. 😂 I mean, Visenya was also definitely PISSED at Rhaenys' fall at Dorne. So yeah, there's a possibility, right? RIGHT?!

19:39 the underestimating dragons thing reminds me of a Star Trek episode (I think Discovery), where they explore the phenomenon that no matter how dire a situation, no matter how obvious incoming death is, up until the last second the human instinct is to believe it won’t happen. Fear manifests in funny ways.

I Always figured Aegon burned the back or rear guard of enemy armies seems much safer for his army

Do Americans not use the name Ciaran/Kieran/Kieron? It’s pronounced Keer-an
