I think the ceo of fanatics realized that they had to step up their game. Not a defense but from a statistical standpoint they were / are not wrong that given the number of items they produce their mess up rate is not bad. That said I think the internet which can really be bad did some good here and they tightened up their QC. If it dips again there is no doubt people will give it to them and hopefully they respond in a way that gives the people what they want. It is cool I think that they went back to selling true game jerseys. Personally not for me but for people that want that choice that is great. Truth is I get my limited jerseys on Alibaba abd it’s kinda crazy how good they look for 30 / 40 $.

It was nice seeing the Wild logo up close. I just bought a few Wild cards that have a game worn jersey patch peice in them. Eriksson Ek and Dumba. The patches are the evergreen trees.

7:17 Something myself, and other Devils fans have noticed, the red on the Fanatics jerseys seem more pink-ish than the Adidas with their uniforms. I noticed it during the preseason with their home uniforms, after checking them out in the team store in person you can tell too. It's interesting it's the same thing for the wild too

I juat picked up a prime green made in Canada St. Louis Blues away jersey for $125 when I attended the game against the Capitals this past week. Was a steal when I could walk to the other side of the arena and buy a Fanatics made in Canada for $430.

Thanks Yvonne and Shannon for the quality inspection. I didn't think this was an apples to apples comparison as the Fanatics one was an authentic. Huge price difference from an authentic verses possibly a replica. Let's hope that 10 year contract made Fanatics aware of how fans are closely seeing if it's worth buying.

Thanks Yvonne for the seamstress eye detail. Will you be doing anything to protect the jersey? I remember in your past jersey care videos you'd spray silver thread to prevent it from coming apart. Wondering if you have any tips to help prolong the life of a jersey from the get go.

Will be Scotch guarding it. That's a really good way to protect any Jersey in the first place. This gold thread likely won't fray like the old reeboks, but protecting the threads is always good. Also helps prevent stains.

I wish the Wild experimented with brighter colors. Forest green and iron range red is nice, but I feel like going with a brighter green/red combo could be really cool at least as a 3rd jersey. But if you do that, you replace the wheat color with white.

Of course you can compare the differences between any two jerseys. This is a comparison of the top tier jerseys that are sold to consumers. The Adidas mic jerseys were only sold as player worn, not available to the public. We will be doing more videos comparing different jerseys as well.

I bought a fanatics premium a few weeks back got the Jets home jersey #17 witch I got it in a size 54 witch I should have gotten it in a size 52 but today I bought the Jets alternate jersey and i had an option for the fanatics premium or the Adidas and the Adidas were 25% off witch it came to a little over 80 bucks off compared to the fanatics and while I was at that jets store I saw that Pro jets jersey and 😮 it’s beautiful but hold on to your seats when you hear the price 😆 499.99 and that’s for just the blank jersey . I told the lady I have one of the first reebok pro jerseys that the jets came out with in 2011 the first 20 orders #16 Ladd and it’s autographed by Ladd himself I got that one put away . I don’t have a collection like you guys lol but this new alternate Jets jersey will be my 7th jets jersey lol I would love to see your guys video of your jets jerseys

The differences are slight, but the Adidas jerseys still look a touch better. I'd also argue the colors are a bit more rich on the Adidas jerseys. Aside from that, in my own experience, the QC on the new Fanatics jerseys is not as good as with the Adidas, because I've noticed a lot more frays in the stitching with Fanatics.

This is not really a fair comparison. The Adidas more compatible was the Reebok premier line. This is like comparing apples to oranges. I do not have a Fanatics version yet but I have the Adidas pro and the Reebok pro version and both were great.

While I likely won’t go for authentic pros when it comes to most nhl jerseys I get since the premium tier is still a solid product , for my favorite teams I’ll probably go for one or two when sales can be found because the heavier duty fabric and construction overall is a noticeable step up (as it should be for actual game use).

Now that you provided an accurate size comparison, it has me now wonder if I should go back to the original size I bought for Adidas Primegreen jerseys whenever I can afford to get a Fanatics Authentic Pro. Ever since Adidas screwed up the sizing on the Reverse Retro 2.0 jerseys, I went to from a size 52 to 54 for more room in the pits area. I have bought size 54 ever since. But now that I see Yvonne's new Authentic Pro as a size 48 is equivalent to a size 50 Primegreen, I wonder if I should go for size 52 for the Authentic Pro. Guessing that I should still get size 54 for the Fanatics Premiums though. I agree, the price tag is so expensive that I cannot afford to normally buy them. I probably would save it for a team that either I'm a long time fan of or a jersey that will become scarcely rare in the future. I could see myself getting a Rangers one. Oh and it is too bad the Coyotes no longer exist because they would qualify as worthy enough for an Authentic Pro purchase. Imagine the detailing on the on-ice jersey from Fanatics. Just too bad.

It looks like the material is bunched slightly more in the fanatics one, which idk maybe as they make more they’ll be a little more polished on that but there are definitely things about the fanatics one, to my eye, that makes it looked a touch less polished than the adidas one.

I have a Bruins Primegreen game worn MIC authentic jersey. Same differences you point out between the on ice and Indo. Only other thing is the On Ice game worn MIC has everything stitched/sewn on. No applique or heat pressed. Numbers are dual layer fabric sewn on and shoulder patches are sewn on, not applique or heat pressed.

You’re comparing what the players wear (fanatics authentic pro) to a retail jersey (adidas’authentic’). Hardly an apples to apples comparison. If you compared both on-ice, made in Canada, jerseys from fanatics and adidas you’d find that they’re pretty much identical minus the dimples
