Nice potato harvest. It is so inspiring to see you Ben and the children working together in the garden and being patient with Buggy. She is learning how to do gardening harvest. If more parents involved their children with gardening and doing chores the children would do less crime. Learning to grow and harvest your food is something you will never forget. Seeing how your hard work pays off at end which is a blessing. Thanks for sharing your family and videos with us. God bless you all and bye for now.

Congratulations Ben on a wonderful pepper harvest, I grew 21 pepper plants and if I get 6 chilli peppers I will have done well, our weather in England this year has been horrendous and I still haven't manged to get 1 red tomato, they grow then the weather turns cold and they just cannot ripen, my cauliflowers, broccoli and Brussel sprouts have been devoured by the cabbage white caterpillar and a small beatle - first year in a new garden so I have learnt a lot and next year I will have better success. You have been the reason I tried to grow this year you are both such an inspiration, your family is so wonderful and I feel blessed that you are part of my life as you make my day so much happier. Can you even imagine what it was like before little miss chatterbox buggy came into your lives. She is such a darling. The sticky side of packing tape wrapped around your hand will pick up the eggs. You have to do it regularly though. Also have wanted to say for a long time how amazing everyone’s hair is. I’m surprised a shampoo company hasn’t approached you to do a commercial yet. I went looking for trombocino seeds after seeing your success, but the seeds labeled as tromboncino on the seed sites were a summer squash. Same shape as what you have, but a light, sort of stripey green. I think what you have might be canada crookneck squash, a winter squash similar to butternut. I think I might try both next year!

We pick the trombincinos green and use like zucchini. We also trellis them so they are straighter and we walk under them. With letting them turn "orange" they will store for winter. We love them for the pest resistance. We only plant 2 and get a ton! We also pronounce it trom-bin-see-no lol not "chino". It's funny hearing how people pronounce things differently across KZbin. ❤ you guys! ❤ Kacy

Sorry to hear about your squash bugs this year. I’ve honestly seen hardly a bug, except for the occasional slug and a few ants. My big problem has been the resident deer, and we’ve reached an agreement whereby they leave the garden alone if I cover everything with netting at sunset and uncover at sunrise (for the impatient bees). It’s been a very good growing season, and my freezer is full. I think Meg might have cried wolf if here was more for her to can or freeze!

Keep your gardens clean of all old cucurbit vines and crop or leaf debris. With winter hiding places removed, squash bugs rarely survive the cold, so it cuts down on cucurbit invasions the next season. Tilling the soil well after harvest also goes a long way toward eliminating these pests

Get rid of the dirty electromagnetic frequency (EMF) in your body. It can't exit with rubber soles on. That is one reason kids have so much energy. I'm so glad to see your kids earthing/grounding.

The Tahitian Melon squash got its name from its sweetness and is a butternut variety and is an amazing heirloom. Yours look amazing
