Thanks for the video as always Nuria. My pricing strategy is really simple at the moment - I make 40 image and 50 image colouring books, with the 50 page ones priced higher by 1$/€/£. I'm running ads to my books and need to sell ~13 books per day to make a profit. Currently I'm selling just over 18 per day on average, so managing a small profit. A bit nervous that I could increase ad spend but not see a proportionate rise in sales and then begin making a loss, but on the flip side the royalties from just 5 books of profit per day isn't going to amount to much. When your business started to grow did you find that sales rose without investing further in ads, or did you pretty much have to increase ad spend to drive that extra sales growth?

Hi, running ads can be a headache for sure, I feel that I do rely on ad spend to reach the numbers that I'm seeing at the moment. When my business started to grow, I did find that organic sales increased too, but I also ramped up my ad spend. I'm too scared to stop ads now lol. I know that my ads could be refined a lot more and I know I'm still spending too much. It's all a learning process that takes time, so I hope that I can improve on my spend next year, it's always worth experimenting a little and see what happens. You can also try promoting on social media or create an email list, your colouring books are ideal for that. Best of luck!

Thank you Nuria. Excellent video. I’m still trying to master the marketing side of things. My ads spend is not so high because I run lottery campaigns. I’m however wondering if these lottery campaigns are a good idea. My sales are just OK, unimpressive in my opinion. My question is… do you thing having about 100 books in each lottery campaign (automatic) a wise idea?

Hi Virginia, thank you so much for watching my video. Running ads is very much a game of trial and error. There is no formula or standard advice I can give as there are so many variables involved: it all depends on your type of books, your niches, your covers, etc. What I can say though is that lottery ads have worked very well for me, but I know others who disagree. So it really depends on your particular situation. I also find that manual ads work better for me than auto ads. Hope this helps a little.
