Director George Miller created MAD MAX 45 years ago, and at 79 years of age, his foot is still firmly on the gas, with plenty of fuel to keep going. FURY ROAD, the reboot from 9 years ago starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron is one of my favorite action movies. The latest installment in this high-octane gas-guzzling franchise is FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA, the origin story of Theron’s character. In this, she is played by Alyla Brown, who slowly transitions seamlessly into Anya Taylor-Joy as the movie progresses. As a young girl, Furiosa is taken from her home the Green Place, a place of abundance.

To be honest, I expected more from this saga... The film left mixed emotions. And most likely, most will have an unpleasant aftertaste, because they went to watch one thing, and got a completely different one. I loved Anya Taylor-Joy, although some critics consider her inexpressive. For me, this corresponds to her character, as a stripped-down soul who did not have a childhood and who preserves herself. Without a doubt, George Miller is a genius and his works are brilliant, but like any brilliant work, it must be in one single copy, otherwise it is already garbage. A gorgeous Mad Max, which can be reviewed endlessly in any version (color, black-and-white, platinum), where all the components are perfectly matched, and natural shots, unique modified Ford XB Falcon equipped with an eight-cylinder engine with a mechanical supercharger, and characters excite the mind. And comes Furiosa... and everything. I wanted to touch the masterpiece again, immerse myself in this amazing world of cars and "FDK" aka "Firecar homemade gasoline,🛢🔥 in a dead wasteland, feel the warmth of the scorching sun and go deaf from the roar of engines, but none of this happened. The mad antagonist Chris Hemsworth is more interesting due to the caricature.🔥 The plot here is quite banal and without non-trivial approaches, but it's quite funny to look at how Furiosa became the last hope of mankind. She herself is laconic, cold-blooded, with a high pain threshold, savvy and resourceful. It is she who will have to go in search of that very place, veiled indicated on her hand, to create a new enclave for humanity. Thx for the reaction!🦊

Not to be a dick about it, and apologies if I'm wrong, but it really seems like you guys are completely unaware that there's an original trilogy from the 70s and 80s by the same filmmaker, George Miller, starring Mel Gibson when he was still Australian. These two are like the new modern reboot of the series. There's "Mad Max"(1979), "Mad Max 2"(1981), and "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome"(1985).
