My husband calls me the GADGET GIRL I had a set of makita battery tools when they first came out. They lasted over 10years until my husband “loaned” them out to his brother. I soon had whole new set for Chrstmas as my tools were never returned. That set was stolen while we were wintering in the south. Then that set was stolen when my business was robbed. That was quite a trim! I thought it was never going to get to the bottom of that hole, and it must have been quite difficult with the very soft horn of her heel. The new grinders look great, and it looks like your job will be made faster and smoother with them. That was such a kind gesture on the part of the person who gave them to you. I was dying to pet the poor lass. She looked so stoic, but not stressed (no drool), and I bet she is grateful for you being there. Keep up the fantastic work! Much love to all xx

@@juliahyatt5838 DeWalt is good. No doubt. But if you are looking for premium, yes cost will be premium, best of the best, Makita is hands down the best. They use better motors, brushes, bearings, stators, rotors, gears, spindles, casing, etc. If you have ever used a Makita for any extended period of time, it will be obvious the quality difference just by the way it feels in your hands when you use it. Also, it will be heavier, good and bad…. Dewalt has gone down hill in recent years. Changes to production components and factories. Still one of the better ones, but not the best ones.

DeWalt is excellent stuff too. Both are. Each have their advantages. DeWalt may be a bit more clumsy with their rougher design and tend to cut the cost in things like battery life, a lack of comfort grips, but make up for even more torque, while in most jobs that extra torque simply goes to waste. For the HoofGP, Makita makes a lot more sense: sleaker, more than enough torque and more comfortable in tight spaces with a smaller size❤

They're called dewclaws. You can also see them in dogs and cats - they're on the inside of their front legs (a little higher up than their paws) and function kinda like thumbs to help them grab on to things better. 👍😊

I never knew grooming cows feet was a thing and my dad told me here they don't have to do it as much. In all his 78 years on earth he said he only had to do a few cows ever and he was born and raised and took over the family farm. I love watching you help out so many cows and bulls feel better.
